Set on two levels, Casa Alcala is very comfortable, homely and full of character. Ideal for a family, this spacious and bright property benefits from tastefully designed interiors that allow guests to feel right at home immediately. There is a large open-plan lounge area with plenty of comfortable seating and an open-hearth fireplace, satellite TV and international TV channels. The lounge has direct access to the patio through French double doors. There is also a large dining room with a table that seats six, as well as a fantastic bar area! The spacious and fully-equipped kitchen features state-of-the-art appliances and an additional breakfast table.

Upstairs, there are four double bedrooms, each with their own en suite bedrooms. With marvellous views and beaming natural light, the bedrooms each provide a private haven for guests. The spa-like bathrooms have bowl-shaped sinks, and one of the en-suite bathrooms contains a lavish Jacuzzi bath. Two of the bedrooms also have their own balcony.

In the lovely outdoor area, a large private pool sits centre stage with plenty of sun lounges and umbrellas dotted around that provide much-needed shade from the blazing Portuguese sunshine. A generous lawn provides plenty of space for outdoor play and activities, and a tall hedge gives guests privacy. There is even a trampoline that the kids will love! If alfresco dining is your thing, you are in luck at Casa Alcala - the villa has two beautiful outdoor dining areas; one underneath a pretty white pergola, as well as a fantastic built in barbecue area. Should you wish to explore outside the villa, there is a vast variety of activities nearby to entertain the whole family. The nearest beach is 6.9km away, with lovely restaurants nearby too. Beyond this, there are towns, villages and even golf courses to explore. With its impressive facilities and ideal location Casa Alcala has everything guests need to completely relax and switch off.

Casa Alcala is located in a quiet area in the centre of the Algarve. The nearest beach is less than 7km from the villa, and the nearest golf course is located just under 6km away. Albufeira Old Town Square is only around a fifteen-minute drive from Casa Alcala and is known for its buzzing atmosphere and variety of bars, restaurants, shops and galleries. Albufeira is a gorgeous coastal city in the famous southern Algarve region of Portugal. Once a a bustling fishing village, it has since become a major holiday destination with tourists flocking from all over the world to enjoy the Portuguese sunshine.

Albufeira is famed for its stunning sandy beaches and is also home to a busy nightlife strip. Don't let that fool you though, Albufeira has something for the whole family! Nearby attractions include theme parks, safari, sea experiences, surfing, diving, dolphin spotting, paintball, water sports and much more!

It is an excellent location to people-watch with seafront restaurants being beautiful choices for freshly caught fish and dining under the sunrise or sunset. Galeria de Arte Pintor Samora Barros is in this area and is an art gallery dedicated to showcasing the work of late Portuguese painter Samora Barros.

Vilamoura, just under half an hour's drive away, is a trendy seaside town, that attracts a classy traveller. A host of prestigious yachts & boats swarm the Marina, which spills onto a strip of stylish bars, locally renowned restaurants and a casino. The glamour does not end there, as Praia da Marina and Praia de Falesia - two alluringly sandy beaches, can be found very close by.

This region of Portugal has a fine reputation amongst golf enthusiasts and has a number of championship courses to choose from. If you have any backhanded thoughts regarding golf, never fear, as Vilamoura has over fifty tennis courts for you to choose from. Numerous water-sports centres scattered within the town allow you to enjoy anything from snorkelling to boat trips. With a vast coastline that meets the powerful Atlantic Ocean, Portugal is a true paradise for the keen surfer, or indeed even those looking to try if for the first time, with plenty of surfing schools all along the calmer sections of the coast. And even for those less enamoured with surfing, the beaches of Portugal are well worth a visit for their beautifully clear waters.

The closest city is Faro and it only takes half an hour on the road, so consider renting a car to make the most of your time in the Algarve.
