Description

This modern holiday home is located in the countryside on the edge of Sarteano, just 300m from the town's thermal baths. The modern building has the living area on the ground floor, consisting of two living rooms with TV and piano, a small spa with sauna, tub and shower and a large, well-equipped kitchen with direct access to the terrace with barbecue. Garden seating at the house; Another enclosed private garden area is on the opposite side of the path and offers you not only parking spaces for your cars, but also opportunities for ball games (bocce, volleyball, basket). The owners also provide four bicycles. An outdoor swimming pool with three pools, tennis, children's play park and ristorante is within walking distance. The picturesque town is also just a stone's throw away: Sarteano with its piazza, bars, trattorias, the winding medieval old town and its imposing castle are directly opposite (750 m). Various paths invite you to go walking, hiking, trekking and biking – anywhere you will find the unique, picturesque hilly landscape of southern Tuscany. You can choose from the nearby Etruscan town of Chiusi (10 km), the medieval wine town of Montepulciano (20 km) or the charming Renaissance town of Pienza (32 km). Spend a day at Lake Trasimeno, with its sandy beaches ideal for children, and reach the small islands by ferry. For those who love warm thermal baths there are those of San Casciano at 20 km. Wherever you go - nowhere will you lack a good local wine: try the Rosso di Montepulciano, the Nobile or even Brunello di Montalcino - together with local specialties, ham, sheep's cheese, salami or mushrooms. Orvieto, enthroned on the mountain, with its magnificent cathedral and Etruscan necropolises at its feet, can be reached in less than an hour (55 km); Florence and Rome can also be reached by train from Chiusi.
