The popular and pretty town of Caminha is just four kilometres away with its beautiful sandy beaches. From the villa on a clear day, you will get a distant view of the sea beckoning to you. Caminha is also the point from which the daily ferry boat hops over to Spain – if you fancy including another country into your trip. Vila Praia de Ancora is also within easy reach being approximately ten minutes away. Again, the sands here are beautifully golden and being on the Atlantic coast it’s ideal if you wish to be adventurous and try body boarding or surfing. The combination of the villa being in a typical setting for Northern Portugal, quiet and within the countryside, whilst still having larger towns to explore very close by makes it a great location.
