This third floor holiday apartment, Sea Views, certainly lives up to its name with the most fantastic view from the living room, guests can sit and watch the world go by as people stroll along the promenade. With its prime position on the seafront of Filey it really is a little gem. This spacious 2 bedroom apartment is ideal for couples or families. Filey is a traditional seaside resort with its Victorian promenade, donkey rides on the beach and the rock pools for the children to go crab fishing. With its wide sandy beach it makes for a great family resort. There are some fantastic walks along the rugged cliff-tops with spectacular views out to sea. The Cleveland Way comes down this coast for the last 50 miles finishing here in Filey. The Wolds Way also ends here, so Filey is a rambler’s paradise! The town of Filey has all the amenities you need with a little high street, where you’ll find a butchers, bakers and post office, as well as lots of little cafés. There are also a few restaurants and bars for an evening meal or drink. Filey is situated on the East Coast between Scarborough and Bridlington, who are its busier neighbours. Further up the coast, discover Whitby leading onto the North Yorkshire Moors and the fantastic purple heather. Take the steam train that runs throughout the year from Pickering to Whitby calling at Goathland, home of the TV programme Heartbeat. Filey is a great base to see what Yorkshire has to offer. Just a short drive away discover the several stately homes: Burton Agnes, Sledmere, Sewerby Hall and just a little further, the fantastic Castle Howard, which is well worth a visit during your stay. The city of York is less than an hour away and is accessible by car or train. This medieval city is famous for its city walls. The beautiful preserved walls are the longest medieval town walls in England and you can walk the full 2 miles of them whilst enjoying the views of the city. The Railway Museum is a very popular place to take the kids or just have a leisurely cruise along the river. Filey has so much to offer all age groups. Beach 100 yards.
