They are equipped with everything to ensure that guests have an enjoyable and comfortable stay and the owners live on site. Each property has patio doors leading to the pretty garden area, and there is also a riverside sitting out area with pizza oven and BBQ. The location is ideal as a base for exploring Christchurch with its famous priory, a beautiful historic church dating back to Norman times, attracting visitors worldwide. There is a good selection of shops, eateries, cinema, shopping and amenities all within 5 minutes’ walk, as is the quay with waterside dining and from where ferries can transport you across Christchurch Harbour to Mudeford.

The area has easy road links to a host of attractions. It has some excellent golf courses within close proximity including Remedy Oak, Ferndown, Queens Park, Meyrick Park, Parkstone and Broadstone. Nearby Mudeford Quay is popular for sailing, fishing, kayaking and windsurfing enthusiasts. Stanpit Marsh is a Site of Special Scientific Interest, and the wetlands are popular for birdwatching.

Dorset is known for its Jurassic Coastline which stretches a distance of 96 miles from Orcombe Point near Exmouth to Studland Bay near Bournemouth. Over millions of years, erosion and landlines reveal fossils and other geological evidence of bygone eras. There are some fabulous towns to visit, including Bridport and West Bay which played a starring role in the TV programme ’Broadchurch’. For something a little different, head to the seaside town of Lyme Regis with its ancient harbour, or why not explore Chesil Beach which connects Portland to mainland Dorset?

Within easy reach are Bournemouth and Poole, with beaches and seaside attractions. Maritime Southampton, with its nautical interest, offers ferry trips over to the Isle of Wight. A day out at the market town of Wimborne, including a visit to its minster, is also recommended. There are many local shows events such as The New Forest Show and Bournemouth Air Show which are worth booking in advance! Beach 1½ miles. Shop ¼ mile, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
