Description

Home House, located in the heart of Croyde village, is a picturesque thatched cottage with a contemporary yet homely interior. Providing luxury living with 5 bedrooms (all en-suite), large sitting room, dining room and kitchen/breakfast room. Outside rear courtyard garden with table and chairs. Parking.

Home House is a beautiful thatched 'chocolate box' cottage in the heart of Croyde village being just a short walk to the shops, pubs, restaurants and beach. Home House, previously a restaurant has been lovingly converted to provide a spacious and comfortable holiday home with luxurious furnishings and finishes. There is an additional living area 'snug' equipped with flat screen tv with games console - perfect for the children to escape from the adults for a while! From here the study and utility room are accessed together with the 1st bedroom.

Living/Dining
The large entrance hall opens out into the sitting area with comfortable seating for 10, flat screen TV with freeview and DVD player and lovely log burner which provides plenty of heat in the colder months!

The hall & sitting room are also open plan to the dining area which has a large table and chairs to seat 10 (plus 2 stools) along with another log burner for cosy winter dinners.

Cooking
The kitchen/breakfast room is well equipped with fridge/freezer, range cooker and other luxuries such as a coffee machine (pods provided).

Sleeping
To the ground floor there is a double bedroom accessed via the snug/study/laundry room with double bed and en-suite shower room. This room has a door to the courtyard garden and therefore can be accessed without entry to the main house.

To the first floor there is the master bedroom with kingsize bed, views over the village and 'jack and jill' ensuite shower room shared with bedroom 4. There are a further two double bedrooms with kingsize beds and ensuite shower rooms together with bedroom 4 which has zip and link twin beds (capable of creating a super king if preferred) plus 1 single bed with an additional trundle bed for 12th guest (additional charge).

Bathing
There are 4 en-suites in total all being shower rooms with washbasins and wc, plus an additional separate wc off the stairwell. There is also an outside shower in the courtyard garden, perfect for washing off after the beach.

Outside

The rear courtyard garden provides a lovely space for 'al fresco dining with built-in bench seating around an outside table with additional chairs. An outside shower enables easy washing after returning from the beach with hanging for wetsuits and board storage. There is a gas barbecue provided.

There is driveway parking for 3 vehicles.

The parking area is accessed via a narrow entrance, however it is wide enough for a VW Transporter van/Range Rover to pass through.

WIFI, linen and hand/bath towels are provided free of charge.

Bedroom 4 - Zip and link bed and single bed with trundle (sleeps 4, additional charge applies)
Bedroom 5 - Kingsize (sleeps 2)

There is a refundable security deposit of £200 payable with the final balance or 1 week prior to arrival - please note this will not be shown in the total cost of the booking on the summary screen. The security deposit is refunded within 14 days of departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection)

Full payment is due if arrival is within 10 weeks. For bookings made 10+ weeks in advance a deposit of 50% plus the £60 non-refundable booking fee is due (Homeaway/Airbnb will also charge their service fee to you upon booking). The final balance and security deposit (if applicable) is payable 8 weeks prior to arrival (Airbnb will detail the payment schedule to you upon booking).

It is not possible to add any extras when booking via Homeaway/Airbnb and therefore the costs of any extras will not be included within the price shown, extras must be requested and paid for directly with Ocean Cottages.
