Originally it was the "Casa do Forno" because it was located next to the wood oven where bread was baked and meals for the family were prepared. In the fireplace inside, on the floor fire, beans and soup boiled in iron pots. The smell of smoke mixed with the unmistakable smells of food fill the imaginary of the Quinta. During the remodeling process the original fireplace was kept as a way to keep the memory of those times alive. Casa Poejo (T1 - max 3 pax) Composition: Double room with double bed (not twin) and possibility of an extra bed. It has 1 bathroom, living room, equipped kitchenette.
Quinta do Marmeleiro is located on the road that connects the villages of Catifarras to Aldeia do Cano, about 6 km from the village of Cercal do Alentejo, municipality of Santiago do Cacém, district of Setúbal.
