Casa Fiori is a wonderfully situated villa with panoramic views of the Calabrian coast, Tyrrhenian Sea and, on a clear day, the volcano Stromboli. Enjoy the peace and quiet sitting on the large terrace with a good book, away from the hustle and bustle of the beach and towns. Fall asleep at night listening to the sound of breaking waves far below. If you need some variety, there are many interesting medieval villages to explore in the area. A boat trip to the Aeolian Islands and Stromboli is also recommended. Or just spend a lazy day at one of the many beaches. The water is beautifully clear, and for those who love the water, there are excellent snorkeling opportunities to observe marine life. The nearest major town is Amantea (about 10 minutes away by car), where a daily market offers a wonderful choice of fresh fish and farm produce. But what you will never forget is the openness and friendliness of the locals - whether you speak Italian or not!
Please note that the pictures in this site are the latest - unlike the Google street view pictures which were taken before the houses were totally renovated.
Bake pizza in a wood fired oven outside.: If you enjoy cooking, there is a well-equipped kitchen that will allow you to try your hand at preparing some of the local Calabrian dishes. For particularly enthusiastic cooks / bakers, there is also a traditional stone wood-fired oven in the courtyard where you can bake your own bread and pizzas.
