KA BRU River is located on the outskirts of the town of Itacaré, in the south of the state of Bahia. It is situated in the Atlantic Forest (Mata Atlantîca), a protected UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site.

A sequence of two floor levels beneath a traditionally folded roof is the heart of the design concept, conveying the feeling of lightness. The large panoramic platform is suitable for a variety of uses and creates a large, open space in which to interact with the natural surroundings. Over dimensional sliding doors between the various areas are creating one big open space living area. The pool, which rises up to 4 meters from the ground, gives the feeling of swimming out into the endless blue. While living in the depths of the tropical forest, residents and guests still feel protected against wild nature.
The Hideaway is near to the secluded, paradisiacal beaches of fishing village and surf mecca, Itacaré (12km by car, 5 min. by bike and 2 min. by taxi-boat, directly from the own house pier). The Hideaway consists of an open-front living space with kitchen, panoramic terrace hangout, an open living platform, a master bedroom and a guest room – both equipped with walk-in closet spaces and generous bathing areas. A swimming pool with an en-suite sunbathing platform is perfectly integrated into the wonderful landscape. The furnishings are a mix of contemporary classics and pieces produced by local carpenters from the Itacaré region. KA BRU River is fully equipped and ready to offer its guests a unique experience.
