Villa Grimaldi offers a laid-back, hillside holiday home in the very heart of Istria. The Villa can accommodate up to seven guests in complete comfort with three comfortably furnished bedrooms. Located in the peaceful village of Previž, it’s the perfect place to escape to the beautiful Croatian countryside, enjoying some quiet time with your loved ones, whilst beautiful beaches and bustling tourist towns can all be reached within a 45-minute drive.

Entering the Villa, you will find yourself in the relaxed open-plan living area. A large sofa and comfortable armchairs frame the space, positioned so you can gather talking, laughing, watching television or gazing out the patio doors to the views beyond, unwinding into the evening. Behind the sofa, a large dining table can seat all the guests. Placed close to the warm glow of natural light that streams through the adjacent windows. The family dining table provides the perfect spot for long breakfasts and social evening meals, embracing time together as a group. The kitchen completes the open-plan space, with ample space to cook up your favourite dishes, maybe even taking some inspiration from the local ingredients.

A spacious hallway links all the rooms together. Each bedroom is homely, with enough space to fully unpack and settle in. There are two bathrooms for your convenience, both with the same laid-back, relaxed style as the rest of the Villa.

Outside, Villa Grimaldi begins to show off! Patio doors open out to the private pool and terrace, where a sequence of spaces allow you to indulge in the amazing Istrian climate, with the scent of pine trees filling the air. Be sure to take a dip in the pool to cool off in the hotter hours of the day. Otherwise, the shaded dining area and sun loungers with their parasols offer some respite from the sun. Alfresco dining is a must, and for guests who love to barbecue, the poolside barbecue is a real treat.

This lovingly decorated Villa is especially popular for families with children, with a trampoline, badminton, table tennis, swings, and table football to keep the little ones occupied all day long.

Villa Grimaldi is a detached property, offering you and your family plenty of privacy to enjoy the tranquillity of the Istrian countryside, with picturesque views of the hills and the scent of pine trees filling the warm air.

A car can come in handy when staying at Villa Grimaldi, as there is so much to explore across the Istrian peninsula. However, there is also plenty to enjoy on your doorstep for outdoor enthusiasts, from long hikes to bike rides and casual strolls. The Konoba Pizzeria is a local favourite, whilst even more delicious restaurants and local cuisine can be found a short drive away.

You can explore the beauty of the Istrian peninsula, with fantastic food, wine, and natural beauty to admire all around you. A thirty-minute drive from the Villa, you will find the forest park Učka where you can enjoy plenty of hiking and fresh mountain air. Pazin, one of the oldest towns in Istria, is just 10km away. A renovated castle has been transformed into a historical museum, displaying the rich history of this fascinating area. The romantic shores of Rovinj and the bustling nightlife of Poreč can both be reached within a 45-minute drive.

If you decide to visit the Croatian islands in the Kvarner Bay, a ferry takes you from Brestova to Cres, Krk, and other stunning destinations. The perfect day trip to take as a family, embracing the fresh ocean air, taking dips in the sea and enjoying every moment Croatia has to offer. There are spots for cliff jumping and scuba diving; be sure to check with the tourist office about the very best spots.

Istria is also famed for its culinary heritage, as one of the best spots in Europe to find truffles, and the huge Italian influence has made the area stand out for its cuisine. A big part of this heritage is olive oil, with olive farms throughout Istria; take a tour and learn how olive oil is made and why Istrians claim it is the best in the world!
