On road parking. No smoking. . Feather Flint Cottages oozes with charisma as soon as you walk through the door as its quintessentially what a cottage stay is all about. When you walk through the door to the left you will discover the front room which has been decorated subtly and is a cosy room to relax in after a day exploring Sussex. It is no surprise that it is one of the oldest buildings in the town and this is very evident once you are inside with its charm and character. As you exit the living room you walk passed the stairs leading down to the basement and games room which is packed full of games tables, a games console and a screen to keep the children happy and amused beneath you which is fairly sound proofed. Keep walking and you enter the dining room, which is deceptively large and big enough for sit eight people with a separate well equipped kitchen just located conveniently adjacent to this room. There are doors leading out to a courtyard that is bathed in sunshine and has a barbecue and further seating. Follow the tartan carpet up to the first floor and you will be greeted with the first of three double rooms on your right and a single on your left with a magnificent shower room opposite some further stairs to take you to the second and top floor where you will discover a further 2 double bedrooms. There is plenty of room in this four-story cottage with lots to do both inside and out and you are right in the middle of everything with the seafront and town right on your doorstep.
With Goodwood, Fontwell and The South Downs National Park just a few minutes’ drive away there is also lots to take advantage of close by. There is also plenty to do locally on Littlehampton Beach for the whole family and a variety of eateries just a few minutes’ walk away. As the eighteenth century progressed, Littlehampton developed from a fishing community to a holiday destination, with Lord Byron, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Percy Bysshe Shelley and John Constable all believed to have spent time here. The railway station is just a 7-minute walk away so if you aren’t driving to this destination then it is very accessible, and you are very central to everything.
With everything said, this is a holiday cottage to enjoy, a base to explore for the family or small groups and has plenty of character to make some great memories in which will last a lifetime.
