Description
Annies Cottage is a wonderful self catering house at the heart of Emsworth.
The ktichen is equipped with everything you will need to self cater during your stay while not out at one of the many eateries. There is a dining space in the living room and table and chairs in the garden for the warmer weather.
Annies Cottage has three bedrooms all on the first floor - two double rooms and one single. On the first floor is a family bathroom with a further WC on the groundfloor.
Emsworth is a popular and attractive small town on the Hamphire and West Sussex boarder. The attractive town centre offers a great range of local shops, including 2 butchers, a fishmonger, a greengrocer, a bakery and a small supermarket. There is also a great choice of cafes, restaurants and pubs. Emsworth also has a beautiful little harbour with a foot pathed mill pond that makes for a delightful walk.
Within easy reach of Emsworth are the historic cities of Portsmouth and Chichester. Portsmouth is the home of the British navy and its historic dockyards are home to world famous ships such as the Mary Rose and the Victory. Chichester's history dates back to Roman times, but the city is dominated by the cathedral, which dates from 1076. Both these cities are also great for shopping and eating, with a wide range of independent and high street shops and eateries.
Other local places of interest include the Goodwood Estate, famous for its horse racing and internationally renowned motor sport events, including the Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival. The beaches at Hayling Island and West Wittering are also within easy reach.
