This superb, very large luxury 4-bedroomed villa with pool is set within an expansive garden and lawn in a quiet and tranquil location with superb uninterrupted views of the slopes and ocean. Located in Prazeres close to facilities, it offers easy access to the express way for exploring Madeira and to many good walks and is only 6 km from sea-access.



Spacious is the operative word for this house. All the ground floor rooms lead to the wide terrace that winds its way around the front, and benefit from the views to the sea.

The living space is enormous and includes ample seating area with cable flat screen TV, wi-fi and telephone for local calls, a dining table for 8 and even a piano! The large fully equipped kitchen and laundry is next to the living area and opens to the superb built-in barbecue and ourdoor dining area.



On this floor are three of the large bedrooms.

The stairs lead to a first floor sitting/games room with TV and play station, and a further bedroom with en-suite bathroom.



The large 8mX4m freshwater pool (treatment by salt) is set at lawn level, allowing you to appreciate those superb views whilst swimming. A deck with sunbeds surrounds it.

On the covered terrace (should you need to get away from the sun) there are some easy chairs and a table and chairs for a quiet read of to enjoy evening cocktails whilst watching the sun set.

Pool heating is optional and costs 180,00€ per week for a setting of 26ºC, paid in cash on arrival.

Pool heating can be provided and should be requested at least one week in advance. Should it be requested after this or after arrival at the villa, the minimum charge applicable is one week, which is payable from the time the heating is turned on.

Cleaning and linen change is provided every 7 days. All linen and towels are provided, including towels for the swimming pool.



The nearest facilities (a bakery and café) are a mere 400 metres away, and the village centre with a selction of restaurants and cafés, is only 1Km away. 1,5 Km away, by the large roundabout that provides access to the expressway and the motorway system, is a supermarket, café/bakery with cashpoint machine, a further café on the petrol station and a further couple of restaurants. The nearest chemist is at the next roundabout of Estreito da Calheta, only 5 minutes drive away (4 Km).



A few minutes by car will take you to the resort town of Calheta, 6 Km from the Villa. With its man-made golden beaches, it is popular with tourists and locals alike. There is a beautiful marina and a good choice of bars and restaurants, a handful of small shops, a good branded supermarket, a bank and chemist.



15 minutes by car east is Ribeira Brava, the largest town before Funchal, that offers a rocky beach and sea access facilities in addition to a large supermarket and more shops, cafés, and restaurants.



Funchal is an easy 40-minute drive and the airport less than 60 minutes along the motorway.

The advertised prices are based on a 4-person occupancy.

Supplements apply to additional persons above the base occupancy.

A security deposit of 250€ or £250 is required, payable in cash on arrival.

To secure your reservation we require a 30% deposit or, if you are booking within 8 weeks of arrival, the full rental value.

Final details for check-in and driving instructions will be sent once you have paid your balance. You will be met at the villa on arrival and shown around.
