Merebank has been designed to be inclusive for wheelchair users as all the external doors have level access and the en-suite wet room and passageways allow for a full turning circle. Assistance dogs are welcomed to Merebank where they have a secure outdoor area, separate to the terrace, and a bowl, towel and dog throw are provided for them. Please note that dogs must not be left unattended at Merebank at any time. The Boathouse accepts dogs and is also fully accessible.
Mereside Farm offers off road parking and from the back of the gardens you can meander into the Ellesmere Plantation woods. Just a short walk away is the picturesque town of Ellesmere which has developed into a vibrant market town with numerous Georgian and half-timbered buildings. Ellesmere prides itself on its individual and independent shops – some have been in the same family for generations. Throughout the year there are numerous food festivals and regattas. It’s a great place to visit.
