Behind the rather inconspicuous facade of the multi-storey house in an outstanding location, just a few hundred metres from the harbour and the harbour beach, lies a modern, puristic, 3-bedroom ground-floor apartment with a parking spot on the street. "Marieta Bajos" opens up towards the rear and - not a common feature for an urban property - offers a relaxation oasis in the middle of the neighbourhood: surrounded by walls, with a little green zone and a terrace shielded by the above storey, the highlight is a 10-metre-long saltwater pool that stretches across the garden. Guests can easily alternate between the beach and their "in-house pool", split up as they please, and go their own ways. During BBQ evenings in your very own open-air alcove with direct access to the kitchen, you won't have to worry about anyone peering into your plates from above, and a lounger or two are also easily commandeered for a shaded spot next to the dining table.

With a completely white design, "Mariet Bajos" allows you to let your own colours shine and delight in the pleasant coolness of the rooms. The windows and doors let light and air in (fans and air-conditioning are also provided), while the interior clearly withdraws from the outdoor activities. After a day by the sea, you will quickly be able to unwind and won't be distracted any additional impressions. Three smaller bedrooms group around the living/dining room, which features access to the terrace and the kitchen. A double bed (1.60 x 2 m) and beds with single mattresses (0.90 x 2 m) are available to choose from; built-in wardrobes offer ample storage space. Two modern bathrooms with walk-in showers (one of them en-suite) are also on offer, and the outdoor shower can also be used to refresh yourself. A washing machine and a tumble dryer in the extra room make this holiday home suitable for guests who want to enjoy the beach, excursions, and water sports, but are traveling with little luggage.

Blue hours, rosy views, and anything but ordinary: the south of the island will enchant you with its colours – from the Cueva Azul on the goat island to the lagoons of Ses Salines – and reveal its creative side. The former fishing village Colònia de Sant Jordi attracts guests who love the water, want to be active, or have fallen for the natural beauty of this region. The stretch of coast awaits with caves, coves, natural beaches, and little islands, and the marine reserve Cabrera draws divers into the species-rich underwater world. There is always something going on at Platja des Port at the marina, and Platja d'es Dolç, which is about 2 km away and also offers families a safe swimming experience. A tapas tour, on offer in the summer, takes you to different places in the town; if you live right in the centre, you can ignore the time and treat yourself to another glass of wine because of the shorter walk home.
