We are extremely pleased to present our Podere Fonteinfrancia. We fell in love with this beautiful property after an extensive search and decided to purchase it, leaving all the features of the original Tuscan style intact while actually enhancing them. The stone façade, the wide indoor spaces with brick arches, the original stone fireplaces, the terracotta tile floors and wooden beam ceilings have returned to their ancient splendour. The beautiful 11,000 sq m English-style garden surrounding the house, as well as the splendid 20 x 18 m infinity pool with whirlpool bath and beach entry that can hold up to 10 people, attest to the beauty and authenticity of the place.

Upon entering the private gate, a path leads to the fenced-in 12-hectare park, where you begin enjoying the typical Tuscan panorama: gaze over a vast green expanse framed by vineyards towards the gentle Tuscan hills, finally noticing the magnificent swimming pool – a beautiful, picturesque view.

The 300 sq m house can host from 14 to 18 people, with the addition of the annex (up to 4 people).
Podere Fonteinfrancia is the ideal spot to enjoy a relaxing vacation just a stone's throw from the sea. It is perfect for small family groups who love both nature and modern comfort, and a dream come true for children.

The property's location is excellent, just a short drive away from the town of Cecina with its shops for the basic necessities, supermarkets, all kinds of restaurants and the characteristic weekly market that snakes throughout the streets of the centre every Tuesday morning – it's one of the largest in Tuscany, and its stands offer everything from clothes to shoes to fresh produce. All the main tourist centres in Tuscany can be reached very easily.
Pisa and its important airport (the main airport in Tuscany) are just a 30-minute car ride away. Volterra and San Gimignano are also about 30 minutes away, while Florence and Siena can be reached in about an hour.

In the summer season, from May to late November, the beautiful nearby Costa degli Etruschi, with its 20 km of sandy beaches, is a must; visit a different beach every day!

On the ground floor: the large Tuscan-style kitchen, with its original, ancient fireplace. Available to guests: the beautiful La Cornue, a world-renowned kitchen unit, 5 burners and 2 ovens, dishwasher and central counter space on which you can prepare your dishes. There is a service door connecting the kitchen to the dining area in the main living room.
The kitchen leads to a large gazebo with tables and benches and a second outdoor kitchen for outdoor cooking in the summer months.

The large, rustic living room (about 100 sq m) has an area that is perfect for relaxing on an armchair in front of the Tuscan-style fireplace (one of the sofas is actually a double sofa bed) and is separated from the dining area with its original wood table by a brick arch.
Also connected by a brick arch is the (satellite) TV room with comfortable armchairs.
Both the TV room and the dining area open onto the covered terrace (about 30 sq m): another attractive relaxation corner. Also on the ground floor: a service bathroom with washbasin, toilet and washing machine.

The upper floor, connected by an antique stone staircase, leads to the sleeping area, which includes 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
The first room has a double bed and a full ensuite bathroom with large shower, toilet, washbasin and bidet. This room also has a loft with 2 extra beds. The second room also has a double bed and a full ensuite bathroom with shower, toilet, washbasin and bidet. The third room has 2 single beds (that can be made into 1 double bed) and an attractive loft with 2 single beds (this room is especially nice for children): The fourth room has a double bed.
The third and fourth bedrooms can share the third bathroom, located right in the hallway that leads to the bedrooms. It is also equipped with shower, toilet, washbasin and bidet.
The 50-sq m 4-person apartment/annex has its own entrance (on the other side of the house) and is on the ground floor. It consists of: living/dining area, with eating space and double sofa bed. Fully-equipped kitchen area (4 burners + oven + dishwasher). The living room has a large French door that opens directly onto the garden and swimming pool. Sleeping area: bedroom with double bed and direct access to the garden. Full bathroom with shower, toilet, washbasin, bidet. Tuscan terracotta tile-floors and wooden beam ceilings as well as occasional small terracotta vaults. Independent underfloor heating. Washing machine, satellite TV.

The entire house is tiled in Tuscan terracotta and has wooden beam ceilings along with some brick vaults. Thefarmhouse has underfloor heating.

The large park surrounding the farmhouse extends for 12 hectares from the wide green expanse around the house down towards the vineyards surrounding the property.
The large pool (20 x 18 m, in use from mid-April to late November) is our piece de resistance, as it has been studied in detail to ensure its integration into the landscape. It is really quite beautiful and effective: the shallow end recreates a sandy beach in the most authentic way possible. As the water becomes gradually deeper, you can swim towards the beach entry, as the water melts into the horizon.

The whirlpool bath for 10 people is part of the pool; thanks to its specially-designed shallow end, both children and adults can truly relax and enjoy themselves.
Near the pool you will also find another gazebo, fully equipped to allow you to enjoy this peaceful spot. Tropical beach umbrellas and sunbeds are a perfect complement to the ambience.
