Description

Residence Lu Nibareddu is situated against a hill in Porto Taverna, at one of the loveliest bays of Sardinia; a vast white sandy beach leading to a sea with thousands of colours. From the residence you have a breath taking view of the island of Tavolara. It's not far off from other wonderful beaches such as the beach of La Cinta and Cala Brandinchi in San Teodoro. It's 20 km from Olbia, 4 km from Porto San Paolo and not far from the Costa Smeralda with Porto Cervo and Porto Rotondo. The resort was built in traditional style in untouched nature with juniper bushes, where Lu Nibareddu gets its name from. The beach is connected to the centre of the residence through a private sand path. The distance from the reception to the beach is just 1.3 km. In the summer there is a free shuttle bus to take guests from and to the beach. In the centre of the resort you can find a restaurant, a pizzeria, the swimming pools, an amphitheatre, a football field and a tennis court. For the little ones there is a screened playground near the beach and a (paid) babysitting service. You can get to know various water sports and there are also a variety of workshops. Why not join the horse riding trips over the beach at sundown. A special experience. At the beach you can enjoy a bite and a drink in restaurant La Tavernetta. And as youre in Sardinia, get to know the delicious fish specialties served here. There is also a cosy bar. There's also plenty to do outside the residence. Not far from the Lu Nibareddu, on the east coast of Sardinia, lies the Tavolara archipelago. A beautiful protected nature reserve with several islands. Boat excursions are organised via the reception. The island of Figaro is slightly more north and is a great spot for deep-sea diving and snorkelling. The region also offers rich and varied culture (monuments, markets, village fetes), nature and gastronomy. An ideal destination for the whole family and for sports and nature lovers.

The accommodation at Residence Lu Nibareddu is available in eight varieties; four different types and in these types the choice of "standard" or "sea view". There are 2-pers. studios (IT-08020-30, standard and IT-08020-31, with sea view), 4-pers. apartments with one bedroom (IT-08020-32, standard and IT-08020-33, with sea view), 6-pers. apartments with two bedrooms (IT-08020-34, standard and IT-08020-35, with sea view) and finally free-standing and ground floor 6-pers. villas with two bedrooms and two bathrooms (IT-08020-36, standard and IT-08020-37, with sea view). The studios and apartments are on the ground or the first floor. All variants are well-kept and comfortably furnished and have a balcony or terrace with garden furniture. Residence Lu Nibareddu is directly by the sea. The studios, apartments and villas as described above are approx. 1.5 km from the beach. Through a walk across the resort, the beach is easy to get to on foot. People who find this too far can use the free shuttle bus (early in June to mid September). The final clean-up is included in the price. You should, however, leave the kitchen behind clean. If this doesn’t happen, cleaning expenses will be charged (€35).

Specifics
• You can use a shuttle bus that takes you to the beach free of charge from early June to late September.
• Arrivals after 10 p.m. must be reported to the reception a few days in advance. If possible, arrival times are adapted for a fee of € 20.
• The swimming pool is open from early May to the beginning of November.
• On the beach you can rent parasols and sun loungers from € 7 each per day.
• You can use a transfer from or to the airport/ferry port of Olbia. Costs per single trip cost (roughly);

• Only small pets are allowed.
• The national policy is aimed at minimizing social contacts with others and ensuring (hand) hygiene. At holiday parks the amenities such as entertainment, kids club, swimming pool, wellness and the restaurants may have altered opening hours or might be closed. As soon as it is possible according to government advice, facilities will be opened once again.
