Description

The incredible Sancocho is a dream villa for golfers, but you don't need to be a regular on the green to appreciate its stunning location. On the Casa de Campo resort, located on the south coast of the Dominican Republic, this wonderful 6-bedroom property looks out on the iconic Teeth of the Dog golf course and offers an outdoor pool, garden and wine store among many other attractions.

The villa offers a particularly impressive view out to the magnificent pool and the ocean beyond. The outdoor areas are spacious and well designed, with various areas to enjoy the sun on a lounger, or have dinner together. An outdoor lounge area on the opposite side of the pool provides another relaxing spot, and an amazing furnished roof terrace, three levels up, makes the most of this beautiful location. There's even a bar up there.

A hot tub, second pool and outdoor showers are among the other highlights of this incredible villa. Sancocho is staffed by a team of four, including a chef and waiter. Inside is a fully equipped kitchen and more spacious living and dining areas, all of them supremely stylish and welcoming.

The six bedrooms suites all enjoy magnificent, uninterrupted ocean views, and provide accommodation for up to twelve guests. With three rooms with King-size beds, and three with Queen-size beds, the villa offers plenty of space to sleep, and each room has its own en-suite bathroom too.

Sancocho is just a few minutes' drive from the private beach of the resort, complete with beach club, and the marina quarter with its cinema and nightlife. In addition to the three golf courses, Casa de Campo offers many other sports facilities including tennis courts, and a range of high-quality restaurants. The popular attraction of Altos de Chavon village is also just over 7km from your villa.

#### Location
Near the city of La Romana on the southern coast, the Casa de Campo resort is the ideal place to discover the luxurious side of the Dominican Republic. More than 50 years in existence, the resort is probably best known for its three golf courses. One of these, the Teeth of the Dog, is considered to be the best in the Caribbean.

If golf isn't your game, there's tennis, shooting, equestrianism, a soccer school and water-sports. There's a lot of fun for kids at Casa de Campo too, with an impressive range of activity programmes tailored to different age groups, from toddler to teen.

You need never be hungry at Casa de Campo, with a host of restaurants, bars and lounges offering up a creative mix of international and regional flavours. The views of the ocean from its Minitas Beach Club make this a great choice for dinner too, with live music and DJs often adding to the ambiance. A spa, gym and a beautiful marina are also part of the resort experience.

The waterside village of Altos de Chavon mimics a Mediterranean aesthetic from the 1500s, yet it's only 40 years old. This place is a must-see, with artists' studios, galleries and an impressive 5,000- seat amphitheatre hosting top music acts among its cultural attractions.

Nearby, the city of La Romana has plenty more to see and do, from shopping in the daily markets to casinos, clubs and beaches. You can take your leave of La Romana via boat and visit the offshore islands of Catalina and Saona. Here, you'll find turtles, coral reefs and white sand beaches – what more reason would you need to make the trip?
