Offering an idyllic and peaceful retreat for families and couples of all ages, Nanny Goat Lodge is a spacious, luxurious lodge. Guests can enjoy wonderful views from the open plan living space, and outdoors there is a large, decked area with rattan style furniture and a BBQ located within the private meadow for rustling up an al-fresco dinner. Foodies will be glad to know that there is a wonderful farm shop just across the lane for stocking up on local produce and essentials.
Guests can indulge morning, noon or night within the luxurious hot tub. The lodge features floor to ceiling windows, timber themed interior, large inglenook style fireplace, sky lights, and a well-equipped kitchen with everything you could need during your stay. There is a good-sized utility room housing a washer/dryer and sink, ideal for leaving muddy boots after exploring the wonderful rambles that surround. The sleeping quarters include two fabulous bedrooms, comprising a master suite boasting a walk-in wardrobe and luxury en-suite shower room, and a twin bedroom. Each room offers deep mattresses and top of the range pillows and duvets for the ultimate night’s sleep.
This luxury lodge is located just 1.5 miles outside the picturesque town of Stourport, located on the River Severn and within a short distanced of Bewdly and Worcester city centre. Surrounded by some of Worcestershire’s most beautiful countryside, this is the perfect hideaway for a romantic break, active family break or leisurely walking/cycling holiday. The River Severn and River Stour, together with the local canal, are nearby creating leisure opportunities on and by the water. The historic Georgian town of Bewdley is only a short drive away and is the perfect location for guests to enjoy a leisurely lunch or spot of afternoon tea in one of the many riverside cafés, bars and restaurants.
The ancient Wyre Forest is around 10-minutes by car offering plenty of walking and cycling trails and Go-Ape tree top adventures. The excellent Severn Valley Steam Railway is only 2 miles from Stourport, an historic line joining Kidderminster to Bridgnorth via Bewdley. Other local destinations include the impressive Witley Court with baroque church and tea rooms, the West Midlands Safari Park and Astley Vineyard. The cathedral city of Worcester is around a 20-minute drive. Shop, pubs and restaurant 1 mile.
