This beautifully unique, stone built detached cottage is set in a stunning, peaceful location with the garden overlooking Goose Croft orchard, within the heart of the Peak District National Park. Finished to a high specification throughout, it is full of charming features such as flagstone flooring, a galleried bedroom and a glazed cartway window which offers wonderful views through the orchard to open countryside. Located in the popular village of Edale which is home to two traditional pubs serving food, visitors are drawn all year round to some of the best walking country in the UK, with Edale being the official start and end of the famous long distance walking path ‘The Pennine Way’. The village has its own railway station around a 10-minute walk from the cottage, which is on one of England’s most spectacular railway routes from Manchester to Sheffield, and there are a number of other Peak District towns and villages all within easy reach. Castleton with its Blue John caves is around a 15-minute drive, the spa town of Buxton is around 30 minutes, as is the fascinating plague village of Eyam, and the market town of Bakewell, which is home to the magnificent historic houses of Chatsworth and Haddon Hall.
