Description

Mezzaluna Cottage is in the most private corner of the garden made up of 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom + full shower room (WC, bidet, shower, washstand) + large living-dining room-kitchen area (with two comfortable bed sofas in the living area). Patio outside for dining al fresco. Swimming pool and picnic garden next door. This house is ideal for families with children, who can run straight out across the lawns.
Excellent public transport from outside the garden gate. Car is not necessary. Just 9 kilometres or 30 Min. by bus/ metro, 20 minutes by car, from historic center of Rome. We offer added car minibus service at reasonable rates. WI-FI. Swimming pool (summer months). barbecue area.

The park is large and offers plenty of privacy to all.

The houses are surrounded by secular pines and cypresses . comfortably and elegantly furnished.

This estate belongs to old aristocratic families (Italian and English), protagonists and accessories of some decisive historic European events (Augustus, Constantine, the end of Roman Empire, the Great Lost Treasure of Jerusalem). These, and other contiguous events, are narrated in a book – but also witnessed as art, artefacts and archaeology in the garden - as part of the Storygardenz project, now funded by the EU (Seeing Stories). In short, a significant part of your entertainment and education in coming to Rome is right here, outside the doors and windows of the houses of this (story) garden.
