Description
The idea of the restoration of the Hidalgos of San Mamés, arose with the purpose of recovering an 18th century mansion that belonged to several generations of the family. After more than 14 years restoring the structure of the house of almost a thousand square meters of surface and recovering forgotten pieces, the owners have managed to materialize the dream of being able to enjoy an unbeatable stay, within a natural environment rich in fauna and vegetation.
After the many compliments received from friends who were able to enjoy Los Hidalgos and after insisting on making it known to the public, the owners decided to make all those suggestions come true and take it one step further, turning "a rural house" into a room that was originally intended exclusively for family use.
The house dates as well as it describes the shield of the façade of the year 1782, with original stone walls and beams and oak ceilings, constructive elements characteristic of the farmhouses of the Palencia mountain.
They are two rural houses of similar characteristics but independent:
- The Hidalgos I
- The Hidalgos II
and they are rented together or separately.
