Our Villa Maffeo is a modern villa with incredible panoramic views over the extensive landscape to the sea.
It was built in one of the most beautiful places, only about 10 minutes from Rethymnon.
The house is approximately 166 square meters and is divided into 3 levels. The property is approx. 2,000 square meters in size and has Mediterranean plants.
In the entrance area there is a gallery with lounge furniture that invites you to read.
On the next level is the living-dining area with the complete. equipped kitchen and the guest toilet. The terraces and the entire pool area are also on this level.
You have an incredible view through the large windows and from all terraces!
The terraces are equipped with modern lounge furniture, comfortable loungers with cushions, and an outdoor dining area.
Relax on the shaded terraces and let your soul unwind.
On the lower level there are 2 bedrooms with an extra terrace and a view of the sea, each with a double bed.
A large bathroom with a large shower is right next door.
There is also another bedroom on this level with 2 single beds and an en-suite bathroom with shower.
From here there is an additional exit that leads to the pool area. All bathrooms are daylight bathrooms.
The washing machine is in a small extra room.
All rooms have shutters or blinds and are equipped with fly screens.
All bedrooms and the living room have AC and satellite TV (Astra with almost all German channels). Underfloor heating (payable on site) provides further comfort, which also makes the house interesting for long-term vacationers in the colder months. The villa is of course equipped with towels, shower towels, bathrobes, tea towels and bed linen. (We are happy to provide you with a baby bed and high chair)
The villa is cleaned once a week and the linen is also changed. If desired, twice.
In the garden there is an approximately 35 m² saltwater pool and an outdoor shower. You will also find a brick grill and an outdoor sink in the terrace area.
You can park your car under the carport (for 2 cars) in the cool shade.
We also offer Villa Maffeo for winter rental to long-term vacationers.
In winter, until the end of March, energy costs are calculated additionally based on consumption.
**07.11. - 30.04. the prices are without electricity! Electricity is charged based on consumption. Price on request. The oil for the floor heating is also billed according to consumption. The then valid oil price is decisive.
The pool is not in operation from December to the end of March.
In the winter prices, from November 7th. Until the end of April, the final cleaning is included in the price. Intermediate cleaning is not included during this time, but can be arranged and will then be charged additionally.
The length of stay from December 1st. until 31.03. is at least 28 nights.
The length of stay from April 1st. until May 21st is at least 7 nights.
From 01.05. - 06.11. All additional costs are included in the rental price.
Check-in time is 2:00 p.m., check-out time is 10:00 a.m. Early check-in and late check-out can be booked if available.
From 2024 there will be an innovation for tourism:
An eco-tax has been introduced for all guests since January 1, 2024. This is staggered by category and season.
The fee from March 1st to October 31st is €15/night per villa. For the months of November to February 28th the fee is 4.00 euros/night.
The amount must be transferred 4 weeks before arrival directly to the landlord's account, who will pay it to the Greek tax office.
