Description

This cute little house is set in a historic hamlet created from the medieval castle of Vertine and makes a great base for two couples who wish to explore the famous Chianti region together. The pretty market town of Gaiole in Chianti is about a mile away and worth a visit for a taste of local life and plenty of atosmphere in the summer. Or you can opt to stay put and make use of the nearby village café.

Bright, airy and comfortably furnished, Casa Rosa is a two-storey stone building comprising two interconnecting parts, each with their own living areas and bedrooms, allowing guests privacy and independence. While separate ground-floor rooms offer further space for socialising. Outside, the private pool is set in well-tended gardens – the ideal place to pull up a sunbed in the shade of olive and cypress trees, relax and take in the views of the surrounding countryside. The furnished, paved terrace overlooks the gardens to the rear and on warmer evenings there couldn’t be a more atmospheric place for pre-dinner drinks and an al-fresco meal with friends.
