The nearest facilities (cafés and mini market) are only between 300 and 600m away. Calheta, with its man made golden beach, Marina, branded supermarket and greater selection of restaurants is only 3.5 Km away.

Swimming pool heating:

Heating is optional and costs 140,00€ per week for 24ºC, paid in cash on arrival.

A supplement of 30,00€ per week applies for each additional degree up to a maximum of 26ºC

Pool heating can be provided and should be requested at least one week in advance. Should it be requested after arrival at the villa, the minimum charge applicable is one week, which is payable from the time the heating is turned on.

Secure parking facilities for 1 small to medium sized car. Although not essential, as in most villas, a hire car is recommended.

The owner has a self-contained apartment in an attic conversion with a separate entrance. Although they may use the apartment from time to time this does not affect guest’s privacy.

The nearest cafés is only metres away, and additional ones, the local supermarket and pharmacy only 600m away.



Cleaning

Cleaning and linen change is provided every 7 days.

All linen and towels are provided, including towels for the swimming pool.

For health reasons, line for a baby cot is not provided and you should bring your own.

Arco da Calheta is known for its sunny and warm year-round climate.

The nearest mini-market is 600 meters away, next to the pharmacy and two cafés/snack-bars.

The Village center of Arco da Calheta is only 1.1 km away. Here you find a café with lovely esplanade viewpoint and a snack bar (as well as the church).

From Arco da Calheta you have great access to the mountains for both sightseeing (Madeira is breathtakingly beautiful) and walking (which has become extremely popular along the levadas or for hiking).



Booking Notes

The advertised prices are based on a 4-person occupancy and supplements apply should anyone join you for any length of time.

To secure your reservation we require a non-refundable deposit or the full amount if the reservation is made within 8 weeks prior to arrival. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival.

A security deposit of 300€ is required on arrival, payable in cash.

The minimum stay is 07 nights.

Final details for check-in and driving instructions will be sent once you have paid your balance.
