A tastefully decorated and furnished two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment with an artistic
touch, at the foothills of the mythical Mount Olympus. The apartment sits in a residential area,
just a fifteen-minute walk from the picturesque town of Litochoro. This is a wonderfully curated
house where you can enjoy the spectacular views of both the mountain and the Aegean Sea out
in the balconies or relax next to the fireplace in the living room.
The 105 sq.m. apartment, which can comfortably host up to 4 adults and one child, is on the first floor of a
traditional building and is spread over two levels. Its entrance leads to the main area with a
fully functional open plan kitchen, a dining area, a living room, a WC, and a small storage room.
The airy living room features a comfortable sofa that can function as a single bed, a stone
fireplace, and a Tv. Details like the beautifully tiled floor, artworks and wooden furniture make
this space special. On this level you can also spend time out on the balcony enjoying the beauty
of nature. A staircase leads a level up where you will find two bedrooms, a separate laundry
room and a spacious bathroom with a bathtub. There is a bedroom with a double bed, an
antique secretaire, wardrobe, tv and private balcony, as well as a bedroom with a double sofa
bed and a wonderful mini attic where you can relax gazing the view. Facilities/amenities include
air conditions at both levels, washing machine, iron, hair dryer, bed linens and bath towels.
There is free Wi-Fi access and a spacious parking area on the street.
‘zeusplace Fenia’s Nest House’ is a 15-minute walk and a 3-minute ride to Litochoro’s bustling
centre, full of restaurants, cafeterias, and shops. Litochoro is referred to as ‘the gate of divine
dwellings’ due to its proximity to Mount Olympus, which according to the Greek Mythology was
the abode of the 12 Gods and the site of the throne of Zeus. The town is a striking combination
of mountain and sea views and is an ideal destination all year round. Nature and rich history
blend, offering the visitor a long list of things to enjoy in the area: strolls at Litochoro’s
cobblestone alleys full of houses in the traditional Macedonian-style architecture, walks by the
Enippeas’ Gorge running the town, mountaineering or hiking at Mount Olympus, landmark
visits, and swimming in one of the many beaches of the Aegean Sea.
Nearby, the archaeological site of Dion (12km) is a must-see with Hellenistic and Roman
findings, and the well-preserved medieval fortress ‘Platamon Castle’ (19 km) perched on a
hilltop offers breathtaking views. Not to miss a visit to the village of Palaios Panteleimonas (23
km), declared a Heritage Monument for its traditional architecture.
Litochoro is accessible through the Thessaloniki Airport (114 km) or the National Road of
Athens-Thessaloniki (5 km).
