The villa is superb and very popular with many repeat guests year after year, so early booking is essential. It's in an ideal location, quiet on the evenings but just a 4-5 minute walk into the centre of the resort where you have many restaurants, bars, play equipment for children and supermarkets. A few bars have children's entertainment as well as shows for adults. As regards the villa, much care continues to be taken with the decor and furnishings to create a stylish and welcoming interior. Just 4km from the beautiful city of Ciutadella (walkable along the picturesque coast road in about 25 minutes), and surrounded by beaches, beautiful coves and rocky headlands, it's one of the island's most popular resorts. The soft sandy beaches in Cala n' Blanes/Cala n' Forcat are gently shelving and some have cafes and bar-b-que areas. The resort has children's play areas, a wide choice of shops and restaurants and a tastefully designed small water park. The Pirate's bar overlooking the beach offers some evening entertainment, including flamenco. The rest of the island is easily accessible by car or bus with regular services to Cuitadella - the island's capital in Roman times. Ciutadella is full of historic grandeur and architectural splendour, with narrow cobbled streets lined with trendy shops and designer boutiques. Its tempting waterside bars and restaurants overlook the stylish marina. Boat hire is also available. Guests always say a visit to Ciutadella is a must! A good night out is at the La Trot Races where you can place a 2 euro bet - don't expect the winnings to be life saving, or anything lavish - its all very simplistic! You can save on car hire costs as it is not necessary. If you want to explore further afield we can get a quote and book car hire on your behalf to collect at the airport . No deposit or money is payable until you collect the car the day you arrive.
There is also local car hire companies in the resort if you want to hire a car for a day or two to explore the island.
