Description

Holiday home within a farm near Caccamo (5 Km), north Sicily, with private pool and view over the surrounding hills. It's composed of four adjoining bedrooms, not interconnecting, each with its own independent entrance and small, partially covered patio with table and chairs, and one communal area with large kitchen. This accommodation is suitable for families with children or for groups of friends travelling together, thanks to the services at the guests' disposal, such as a kids' playground (in shared use), barbecue, outdoor area near the pool for alfresco dining, possibility to organize horse riding tours, wine and local specialties tasting at the farm (20 metres away). The owners are leaders in the production of almonds and will be pleased to provide more information on the whole process, from the harvest to the packaging. The Medieval town of Caccamo lies at 5 Km; here you may visit its renowned castle, the beautiful churches and monasteries. Termini Imerese is at 10 Km, offering thermal baths, an harbor and many shopping centers; you may also spend a pleasant day at the seaside in Cefalù (20 Km), famous beach resort thanks to the marvelous beaches and the crystal-clear water. Palermo is only 55 Km away and offers many Arab-Norman buildings, the Cathedral and other churches inscribed in the UNESCO world heritage. Moreover, from Palermo you may organize pleasant boat trips to take part in fishing activities or to go on an excursion to the Eolie or to the Egadi Islands.
