Description

This striking holiday home is in fact a beautifully restored medieval watch tower. The property is located in the typically charming Italian countryside, about 12 km from Sansepolcro, the birthplace of the famous Renaissance painter Piero della Francesca. Due to the unique nature of the building the living and sleeping areas are spread over quite a few different floors. On the ground floor is a bright kitchen and dining area with a vaulted ceiling; located just above guests will find a lovely sitting room with fireplace. The rooms on the upper floors are either connected to the main living space by a spiral staircase or exterior stairs, the building is therefore not recommended for people with younger children or people with limited mobility. This property boasts five beautiful bedrooms with an equal amount of bedrooms sleeping 10 guests in total. The rooms on the higher floors have the advantage of offering beautiful views from the surrounding areas. On the large grounds guests will have the pleasure of having exclusive use of the pool, several terraces plus a barbecue and pizza oven. This property is ideal for hiking and visiting the beautiful cities of the Tiber-valley such as: Caprese Michelangelo, Sansepolcro, Anghiari; the Franciscan monastery of La Verna is 20 km. Pieve S. Stefano 4km. Unpaved access road.
