The house was remodeled in 2007 with the goal to respect the oringial Spanish Colonial or "Creole" style while accentuating it with modern conveniences. The house is abundant with hand carved woodwork and hand painted Spanish tiles. The use of stone is also abundant in the archways and patios. The house utilized many local artisans to murials and celing details. The use of marble and grantie in the kichen and baths give it the refined touch only a house of this status deserves.
