Description

Villa Rosmarino is situated in the private residential area of La Celvia and is in one of the coast's most prestigious addresses. Just minutes from the beach and with stunning sea-views of turquoise waters and tumbling hills, this holiday home with its own private swimming pool enjoys privacy and tranquillity despite its popular location.
The characterful and charming villa has been built in traditional Costa Smeralda style with white washed walls, ceiling beams and beautifully tiled cotto floors and bathrooms. It is a project by renowned architect Savin Couelle and you can see his characteristic curving shapes and use of local rough-hewn materials throughout the villa. It really is a unique and special place to stay.
Every comfort has been met making this home perfect for a long holiday. The spacious living area, cosy for cooler evenings, leads through to a beautiful dining area with table and chairs, ideal for leisurely meals with the family. Both rooms have patio doors leading to the very comfortable covered verandah where you can sit gazing at the immaculate gardens, beautiful private pool and sea beyond. Al-fresco dining for lazy lunches or warm evenings is perfect in the outdoor eating area with a beautifully tiled table and chairs.
The ensuite master bedroom has a four poster bed and open fireplace, there are also four further doubles and one twin plus six bath or shower rooms throughout. Rooms are furnished in a contemporary-traditional, plush and very comfortable style with a nautical theme that you can see throughout the house.
The pretty Spiaggia La Celvia, just a short walk away, is well known for its pretty pink coloured sand made up of shell fragments and pink powder quartz. Just a little further by foot is the family-friendly Capriccioli beach with its exceptional clear waters and gentle tides, backed by olive and pine trees. They are known to be two of the most beautiful beaches in the area.
If you dare leave this exclusive enclave, the delights of the Costa Smeralda are on your doorstep. The equally luxurious Porto Cervo is 8 kilometres away or you can explore the rugged interior of the beautiful island towards Arzachena and beyond.

#### Location
Situated in the upmarket and exclusive private residential area of La Celvia, Villa Rosmarino is in one of the coast's most prestigious and beautiful locations.
The pretty Spiaggia La Celvia, just a short walk away, is 300m long and well known for its pretty pink coloured sand made up of shell fragments and pink powder quartz. Just a little further by foot is the family-friendly Capriccioli beach with its exceptional clear waters and gentle tides, backed by olive and pine trees. They are known to be two of the most beautiful beaches in the area.
Created in the late 1950s by Prince Karim Aga Khan to be a prestigious retreat for the wealthy, Porto Cervo has gained a reputation for glitz and glamour. There are numerous fine dining options dotted throughout the town but if the luxury gets too much then why not opt for a simple and more affordable pizzeria. Golf-lovers be sure to visit the Robert Trent Jones-designed Pevero Golf Club nearby, arguably one of the finest in the world.
Spotless sandy beaches with their turquoise seas and the sweet smell of macchia are some of the finest in the world. Further afield you can explore the rugged interior of the island and find one of the thousands of Nuraghic sites that are scattered across the emerald isle.
If you are keen to go off the beaten track you may come across a deserted cove backed with tumbling hills and the sweet smell of macchia (Sardinian wild herbs). Others prefer the larger stretches of sand such as Spiaggia Liscia Ruia, often claimed to be the most beautiful beach in the region. Inland Sardinia also offers so much exploration, such as the 8,000 megalithic nuraghe (man-made stone towers on the rugged hilltops), many with stunning views all around.
