Ideal for two families to share, or if you're travelling with a group of friends, Villa Ulrica's open-plan lounge and dining room is decorated with luxurious furnishings, a ceramic tiled floor and fireplace. Two sets of sliding patio doors allow light to flood in and guests to head straight out to the pool terrace.
Wrapping around two sides of the villa, your partially-covered terrace features table football, for those who can only lie in the sun for so long, and a dining table and chairs. Located next to the built-in barbecue and sink, you have the perfect arrangement for leisurely lunches and al fresco dinners, pool-side. Why not fully embrace the outdoor lifestyle and take breakfast out here too?

Your private pool is flanked by a wooden sun deck complete with sun loungers and a grassy border, beyond which you have the garden wall. Adorned with roman steps at one end, your saltwater pool is impossible to resist in the heat of the afternoon. It's yours to splash and swim in all day long, until a well-deserved rest on a sun lounger beckons.

Back indoors, your fully equipped kitchen and two of your bedrooms are found on the ground floor. Both rooms are double with en-suite bathroom and enjoy direct access out to the pool terrace. Perfect for that early morning swim you've been promising yourself! Upstairs, you have a further two bedrooms, again both are doubles with en-suite bathrooms. One also includes a double sofa bed ideal for children, and balcony access. Complete with comfortable seating and a table, this is where you'll enjoy a quiet drink and look out over your view of the sea.

Villa Ulrica is surrounded by lively resorts, places of interest for sightseeing trips, world-class golf courses and some of the best beaches on the Algarve. #### Location
Situated in a residential corner of Parchal, close to Ferragudo, Villa Ulrica enjoys an ideal location for exploring the delights of the Algarve. Portimao harbour is on the other side of the river and it's from here you can book boat excursions.

The Algarve coastline can be best admired by looking back to land at the stunning and iconic sandstone cliffs, beaches and towns dotted along the coastline between Lagos and Albufeira. Water sports are also very popular in this part of the world, with everything from sailing, snorkelling, kayaking and windsurfing available from Portimao harbour.

To do justice to the natural beauty of the Algarve, several trips to the beach are a must. From Villa Ulrica, you have the delightful choice of two within a few minutes' drive. Praia da Rocha in Portimao is a vast, family-friendly beach fuelled by lively bars and restaurants along the boardwalk. At Praia da Carvoeiro, the terraces of beach-front restaurants and cafes overlook the large stretch of golden sand and sun-kissed cliffs. Both beaches can be very popular during the summer months but they're big enough for you and your family to find that perfect spot.

If you want to explore the coastline and discover lesser-known coves and bays, hop in the car and drive along the coast road. You won't need to go far to find a hidden gem of a beach.

For a fun day out, you have Slide and Splash water park on the outskirts of Lagoa. Embrace the madness and join the kids for a thoroughly entertaining day on water slides and white-knuckle rides. Once you've all dried off, a hypermarket is just down the road from here, so stock up on essentials before heading back to the villa.

The final ingredient for a quintessential holiday in Portugal, is of course, golf. With Gramacho, Pestana and Vale da Pinta just minutes from Villa Ulrica, Golfers are spoilt for choice.
