The cleaning fare includes the following: professional clean of the property, sheets and shower towels for the number of guests, toilet welcome pack (1x toilet paper 15 meters, 1x soap bar, 1x shampoo 30 ml, 1x gel bottle 30ml, 1x bath sponge), kitchen welcome pack (1x bin bag, 1x kitchen cloth, 1 kitchen sponge, 1x bottle washing up liquid 30ml, 1x soap bar). The total price also includes free wifi and parking.

The Space:
Set in a breathtaking location, standing alone among olive groves in the foothills of the Pyrenees above the town of Roses and within easy driving distance of Cadaques. This luxury house has been built using traditional local stone from Cadaques and it has been renovated to a very high standard with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms making it ideal for 1 or 2 families sharing. Bedrooms 1, 2 and 3 are located upstairs and bedroom 4, with ensuite facilities, is downstairs with a 'Summer kitchen' with direct access to the pool and gardens making it ideal for parents with babies. Baby equipment can be provided on request. The main kitchen is fully equipped and is located upstairs next to the dining room and extensive lounge which opens onto a beautiful terrace with large exterior dining table and chairs. The exterior dining terrace enjoys spectacular views of the pool/gardens/national park and Bay of Roses. The location is so beautiful that it is unlikely you will want to leave the villa and pool to enjoy what the local area has to offer!

Guest Access:
You have exclusive use of the house and the gardens. Certain areas - the garage and various storage rooms - are not accessible.

The Neighborhood:
Villa Vistabella is located on a sunny South-facing hillside in the foothills of the Pyrenees, amongst olive groves with National Park all around. It is an ideal location to escape the crowds, but to be only 5 minutes drive to the fishing port of Roses and the nearest beaches, restaurants and supermarkets.

Roses town has all the facilities you would expect of a modern resort with plenty of bars, restaurants and nightclubs. The vibe is very family-oriented and friendly. The beach is sandy and safe for children, and at one end of the town is the busy fishing port where you can buy fish and seafood just off the boats.

The Bay of Roses is a beautiful bay of sandy beaches stretching from L'Escala to Roses. The beaches vary from sheltered family stretches, with lifeguards, sunbeds and all facilities, to wild natural areas where the windsurfers and kite-surfers come to play.

The Cap De Creus with its stunning rocky coves and sandy beaches is approximately 15 minutes drive through breathtaking scenery. Take a drive to the lighthouse at the most Easterly point in Spain where it really does feel like “the end of the world”.

You can visit the popular seaside town of Cadaques, where you can see the former home of Salvador Dali which is now a museum. Cadaques features on thousands of Costa Brava postcards and the town is full of artist's shops and good restaurants.

To the North of Roses you will find an unspoilt headland with spectacular scenery and small coves, including Cala Montjoi where you will see El Bulli, the world famous restaurant.

There is a very large protected area of natural wetlands within a few minute's drive. The 'Aiguamolls de l'Alt Emporda' are an important habitat for many species of birds and very popular with birdwatchers.

Figueres, about 20 minutes by car, is a traditional town where you will find the main Salvador Dali museum. Other historic towns and villages are all around. The small city of Girona is about 40 minutes by car.

Aqua Brava water park is about 5 minutes drive and is great fun for all the family.

Empuriabrava is approximately 15 minutes away. Here you can hire a boat to explore the canals, or try sky diving either from a plane or in the new vertical indoor wind tunnel.

If you are looking for restaurants you are spoiled for choice in this area. The world number 1, El Celler de Can Roca, is in Girona but you need to book early! Closer to Roses there are any number of traditional restaurants in the local villages or along the sea front serving fish caught that morning and fresh local ingredients. In the villa you will find our recommendations for the best restaurants to suit all budgets.

Getting Around:
A car is essential
Getting there: Girona Airport 45mins. Perpignan Airport - France 1 hour. Barcelona - El Prat 2 hours.
TGV: the fast train is now direct from Paris to Figueres (Vilafant) station.
Roses is just 30 minutes' drive from the French border. Driving from Calais for example takes about 12 hours (750 miles).
