The pool water shimmers azure blue in the strong afternoon sun. You lie on one of the sun loungers and are happy that the forest surrounding you protects you from too many hot flashes. And that is only one of the many reasons to be happy that the farmhouse "Yuma" offers you: About 100 metres from the house, you will find a well-maintained putting green where you can practise the potentially decisive shot undisturbed - the island is an Eldorado for golfers, so you are sure to meet many like-minded people. Thanks to the stylish outdoor area of this property, you are the ideal host for a successful evening with old friends or new acquaintances. This is ensured by the presence of the many palm trees on the property, in addition to the large pool with water seating rondel. From a covered terrace directly adjacent to the house, you can enjoy the view of your gem with a good drop of wine, which perfectly accompanies an island speciality prepared on the fixed barbecue area.

Lots of windows ensure that the villa's interior is bathed in warm, bright light. From the terrace you can head into one of two cosy living rooms, where fluffy sofa cushions invite you to have a siesta on the couch until dinner's ready to be served on the large dining table just a few steps away. Peering through an opening in the wall, you can see what awaits you in the other lounge area: another large couch and a huge flatscreen TV that should satisfy the demands of any movie lover. Or get lost in a daydream while staring into the flickering flames of the fireplace. The kitchen is decorated in blue and white in that simple, yet elegant style – bright, cheerful, and uncomplicated. It's a style that's very typical of Mallorca, and it sets the tone for the rest of the house. In the kitchen you'll find everything you need to prepare a tasty meal. The ground floor also contains a lavatory as well as a bedroom with its own bathroom. The actual ground level is situated at the top of a slope, and there's an additional storey below that also enjoys lots of natural light throughout the day. The rest of the group will be staying in the spacious upper storey. One of the bedrooms on this level boasts a phenomenal view of the pool. The littlest holidaymakers in your group will have their own bedroom with two single beds. Across from this room is another bedroom with an en-suite bathroom in its favour. Last but not least, there's one more bathroom up here to prevent any delays in the mornings, so that everyone will be ready on time when you decide to leave and explore the island, taking advantage of this property's excellent location.

Cyclists in particular will love the extensive and well-developed network of bike paths in and around the municipality of Llucmajor, just 6 km away. And when you've had enough pedalling, take a break on the Plaça d'Espanya, which was fully restored in 2010 and is now closed to motor traffic. The restoration has led to a boom in charming cafés and little restaurants with outdoor dining areas popping up around the plaza. On Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays you can check out the market and stock up on groceries for a picnic. And if you're keen to get out to the seashore, you can drive on out to the beach at S'Arenal, just 17 km away. The beaches at Platja de Palma, Caló de Sant Antoni, and the cliff-lined beach at Cala Pi are also quite easy to reach in your hire car. If you don't find what you're looking for in any of the nearby towns, or if you'd just to take a stroll through a historic city, the island's capital of Palma is just half an hour away by car. Those looking for some peace and quiet after a long day of exploring the island will surely find it back at the villa.
