Located on Ullswater, the second largest lake in the Lake District, guests of Lakeside House will enjoy over half a mile of private lake shoreline, with a private boathouse and jetty, shared with only one other property, Lakeside Barn.

The luxury home can comfortably accommodate up to twelve guests, across six well-appointed bedrooms, each of which boasting excellent en-suite facilities. On the ground floor is the main living accommodation which comprises of sumptuously furnished drawing and reading rooms, complete with cosy woodburning stove and a fully-equipped kitchen where wonderful lake views can be enjoyed from the dining table. Also on this level is the fabulous cinema room complete with mood lighting, the perfect space to enjoy a movie night. The wellness area makes a brilliant space to spend an afternoon, enjoy a dip in the hot tub while enjoying the lake views or choose to enjoy some peace and quiet in the Laconium Sauna ,afterwards enjoy a yummy G&T at the private bar – just dreamy! The first of the bedrooms, a double room with luxury en-suite bathroom can also be found on this level. Upstairs, on the first floor are the remaining bedrooms, four doubles each complete with an en-suite bathroom or shower room.

Outside, the terrace makes the perfect place to enjoy a spot of al fresco dining on a Summers afternoon, afterwards round off the evening with a dip in your private hot tub! The children are bound to enjoy exploring and playing games in the large gardens

Lakeside House holds an excellent position on popular Ullswater, the second largest lake within the Lake District. It was the yellow spring flowers on the banks of Ullwater that inspired Wordworth's famous poem "Daffodils".
While guests will feel a million miles from any hustle and bustle, amenities can be found in the village of Pooley Bridge, just a 10-minute car journey away, while the town of Penrith, with a wider selection of amneities, is less than 30-minutes from the house. Nestled on the side of Hallin Fell, the home makes the perfect base for keen walkers, enjoy jaw-dropping views from the top of Hallin Fell which make the climb more than worthwhile.
For those wanting to further explore the Lake District, notable Windermere and Ambleside are both just an hour away, making this an excellent choice for those wanting to fully explore this beuatiful region.
