The villa itself is a whitewashed property, contrasting to the luscious greenery that lives around the villa's walls, with vines climbing towards the roof and luscious trees shading the terrace. Traditional wooden window frames are reminiscent of the areas more traditional architecture, with heavy wooden doors that look elegant at each entrance. From the moment you drive up, Casa Pinatell offers a sense of elegance and an atmosphere that makes it very hard not to relax!

The villa's ground floor boasts two twin bedrooms and a family bathroom, all within easy access of the outdoors, so kids can rush straight out of bed to play on the terrace or splash about in the pool. Upstairs, a good-sized double bedroom sits alongside the main living areas, with a guest toilet for convenience. The main living space is spacious and bright, with windows boasting views out towards the mountains and patio doors opening to an elegant balcony. Open plan, the lounge and dining area share this open space, with comfy sofas, a fireplace and a large table. Casa Pinatell is a charming, traditional property located in a very quiet area close to Blanes. Perched amongst the treetops, the views from the villa are outstanding, stretching all the way to the mountains and giving you a sense of place amidst the beauty of the Costa Brava.

The Costa Brava region is located 60km from Barcelona, becoming more and more popular with visitors each year. Well known for its Mediterranean climate, sandy beaches, wonderful food and wine, and its attractive towns, all of which make for fantastic year-round holidays! In summer the coastal towns are livelier, with frequent local festivals and music performances, whilst the winter months offer a more tranquil and quieter vibe.

Particularly for families, although among young couples and groups of friends as well, Blanes has become a favourite spot. The town is located at the start of the region's coastline, often referred to as the Gateway to the Costa Brava! With supermarkets, shops, pharmacies and an array of fantastic eateries, you will find everything you need in the town, and it is only 6km from Casa Pinatell. Blanes boasts four kilometres of wide, golden-sanded beaches and ‘blue flag' quality seawater. Clean, safe and with calm shores that even little ones can enjoy swimming in, you can simply turn up each day and simmer in the Spanish sunshine! The neighbouring beaches to the north, Lloret de Mar and Tossa de Mar are well worth a visit and can be a little busier and livelier, offering a contrast to the tranquillity of Blanes.

Just a block away from the beach, you will find a daily fresh fruit and vegetable market where you can pick up a selection of local ingredients to take back to your villa and cook! Or if you want a night off, you can settle into any of the local tapas bars, delighting in the fresh seafood and Spanish flavours, pairing your meal with a glass of local wine! Blanes is also known for its botanical gardens, Marimurtra. They are considered to be one of the best botanical gardens in Europe, located on a mountain top, views stunning views over the surrounding area and blue azure of the Mediterranean; well worth a visit we would say!
