Description

When people spend their holidays on Mallorca, they often want to live close to the sea. As the villa "Son Claret" is situated only 5km from the coast, it’s a perfect choice for those who want to be close to the water. Only a few minutes in the car and you’re at a beautiful beach where you can spend many hours in the sun. Alternatively, you can enjoy the sun in your temporary home lying on the large lawn, relaxing and enjoying the finca’s calm rural location to the fullest. The luscious vegetation surrounding the garden creates a comfortable and private atmosphere which makes it easy to leave your everyday life behind. The high palm trees are a real eye-catcher and a great decoration for the pool area that promises relaxing hours in your very own bathing spot. The pool is 9 metres in length and between 2 and 1 metres deep. This gives you plenty of space for some refreshing lapses early in the morning before going to get some fresh bread for your fellow travelers. And who knows, maybe the breakfast table will already be set on the covered terrace when you return while the aroma of freshly brewed coffee fills the air.

You prefer to eat in the cosy inside of the finca? No problem! The spacious open-plan kitchen and living room provides enough space for everyone to eat together and everything you need is within reach.. On top of that, you have everything you need right at your fingertips. The cosy flair of this room is particularly charming. But it’s also highly functional: the full equipment including toaster, microwave, kettle and coffee maker makes you completely independent. This means you can follow your own rhythm from dusk to dawn. This might include many hours spent on the couch relaxing and watching TV, reading, surfing the Net or, on cooler evenings, gazing into the fireplace and dreaming the hours away. The homely and rustic bedrooms on the upper floor with their visible masonry feature 1.50 x 1.90 m and 1.80 x 1. 90 m beds that guarantee restful nights. As everywhere else in the house, the floor is made of terracotta tiles that round off the harmonious interior design together with the exposed beams of the ceilings. The bathrooms are functional and get plenty of daylight.

If you leave your cherished home away from home to explore the surrounding area, you can easily reach many lovely towns and villages with your rental car. In Muros’ supermarkets or at the farmers’ market on Sundays, you can buy food to make your self-catered holidays as easy and comfortable as possible. You should definitely take trips to the surrounding towns like the former fishermen’s village Can Picafort (ca. 8 km) that has managed to keep its traditional character and offers a range of restaurants, bars and boutiques. If you want to spend a day at the beach, you only need to drive a few kilometres before you reach the bay of Alcúdia, San Baulo or Can Picafort, to name just a few of the most beautiful sandy beaches.
