Villa Leccio is a world apart, set in a charming and peaceful place where guests can truly relax and discover a slower pace of life away from the city.
The villa is nestled in the beautiful, idyllic wilderness of a natural reserve. It is close to Siena and to San Galgano Abbey with the famous 'sword in the rock'. It is also close to the Via Francigena, the medieval pilgrimage route to Rome from the North.
Guest staying at Villa Leccio will be treated to an enchanting experience. Deer graze in the meadows, adventurous foxes pass through the farmyard, and guests are likely to see woodpeckers, jays or buzzards gliding from one oak to the other.
The property offers breathtaking panoramas and countless daily outings in the preserves of an undisturbed wilderness. It is an ideal base for exploring the delights of Tuscany.

#### Features
The magnificent Villa Leccio consists of two close buildings offer accommodation for up to 18 people in 5 apartments. Making it an ideal choice for large groups of family or friends. All apartments are in the main accommodation building, on two floors.

The villa has been exquisitely designed in a rustic style with comfortable and tasteful furnishings. The apartments have hand-made terracotta flooring, chestnut wood beam ceilings and are decorated in soothing natural colours. All bedrooms have double beds or single beds and private bathrooms with showers. In addition there are hot/cold food and drink facilities in all apartments with basic kitchenware and tableware.
Main Building
The main building hosts all 5 apartments with 9 bedroom and 10 bathrooms.

Gran Focolare
This is a large apartment spread over two floors, on the first floor is a comfortable living room, large working fireplace, dining area, well equipped kitchen and two double ensuite bedrooms.
On the second floor are a further two double bedrooms and one bedroom with large bed. All three bedroom offer ensuite bathrooms with showers.
Champagne
Champagne is a small romantic apartment with a double bed, private bathroom and shower. The apartment also has a cosy living, dining area and a small kitchenette.
Blu
Blu is a charming mezzanine apartment for two with a double bedroom, private bathroom and small kitchen.
Camino
Set on the ground floor with one double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and two additional single beds available on request. The beautifully decorated apartment has a spacious living room, decorative fireplace, dining area and kitchen.
Mansarda
Mansarda is a modern Italian studio apartment located on the second floor. It is ideal for a couple with a double bedroom, bathroom, living room, kitchen and dining area.

Outdoor Grounds
The villa is surrounded by lush green areas with a patio, wood oven and plenty of furniture for outdoor eating and relaxation. There is a large private chlorine free swimming pool ideal for children or people with allergies.

The person in charge at the villa lives in an independent apartment and is available for help and local info.

Romanesque Montesiepi Chapel, next to the abbey, preserves Galgano's ‘sword in the stone', which is likely to be connected to King Arthur. Both the abbey and the chapel attract many tourists throughout the year.

The villa is located in beautiful Siena, home of the world-known Palio horse race, a competition of medieval origin among the 17 districts of Siena (Contrade) in the form of a carousel horse race. The Palio takes place twice a year: July 2nd is the Palio di Provenzano (in honor of the Madonna di Provenzano) and August 16th is the Palio of the Assumption (in honor Our Lady of the Assumption).
Sea lovers will find beaches along the Maremma coast 60 km away. Castiglione della Pescaia is a well-known family sea resort while Uccellina Regional Park offers miles of free, white, uncontaminated sandy beaches.

- Catering: Villa Leccio has its own cook and catering services that can be arranged at an additional cost. If guests prefer a cook and catering services different than the villa's, they should inform us in writing at the time of booking, providing names and contact information.
- Additional services: Guests are kindly requested to make sure that services other than the villa's contact the property before an event so the owner can discuss with them the use of the property's indoor and outdoor areas.

- Events: Rental costs vary for special events. Guests who wish to organize an event at Villa Leccio during their stay must ask for written approval at the time of booking, specifying the exact date and time of the event and notification of any additional guests.
