Description

Visitors wanting to relax and enjoy the fabulous Portuguese sun while being close enough to enjoy some cultural and buzzy visits into the vibrant capital city Lisbon, will be delighted with Casa Bacana. It is located just a short distance from the astounding Fonte da Telha beach, the wonderful Aroeira Golf Resort and Costa da Caparica. The villa itself is contemporary, minimalist in design with artistic flair and deluxe modern furnishings. It is elegant and extremely comfortable with each of the 3 bedrooms being a suite with stunning ensuite bathrooms.

The fabulous Aroeira Golf Resort is just 1km from the villa and is home to two excellent courses as well as a swimming pool, four tennis courts, a shopping mall and several bars and restaurants. It is great to have it on your doorstep!

The Costa da Caparica coastline is beautiful with mammoth, silver white-sanded beaches, powerful, pounding surfing seas and spectacular natural scenery. The Fonte da Telha beach, 3.5km from the villa, is 10km south of the Costa da Caparica resort and has a backdrop of high, sculpted, golden sandstone cliffs, topped with fragrant pine and eucalyptus trees. The beach is on the edge of the protected Arriba Fossil da Costa nature reserve. Although it is a very natural area, there are plenty of good restaurants and bars.

Casa Bacana is ideal for 6 guests, either a family or group of friends. Throughout the interior, the furnishings are luxurious and comfortable. There is a fabulous corner sofa in the open plan lounge and dining room. The kitchen is sleek and sparkles. It is fully equipped and includes a Nespresso coffee machine. Although minimalist, little artistic touches catch your eyes such as sculptures, artwork, staircase design or the miniature garden below the staircase. The floating, glass-encased staircase takes you upstairs to the smart bedroom suites. Each has a double bed and a stunning ensuite bathroom. Everything is glossy and new.

Outside, the villa has a wonderful 5m x 3m swimming pool, sun loungers and garden bean bags, alfresco dining and synthetic grass. It is a marvellous spot to enjoy watching the sun go down and to relax with a glass of wine.

#### Location
Casa Bacana is situated very close to restaurants, Aroeira Golf and Fonte da Telha beach. The summer mini-train stops at the beach and travels along the coast following the ocean, stopping at 19 beaches. There are many beaches, some nudist, some with watersports and others are tranquil and peaceful. The surf is fantastic so it is a great opportunity to learn to surf, paddleboard or kite surf. There are a number of surf schools where you can hire equipment and take lessons. Costa da Caparica is a lively and modern resort where you will find much entertainment.

Lisbon is just 15 minutes away by car, traffic-permitting, 30 minutes by bus or you can take the ferry across the estuary to Cais do Sodre from Cacilhas. Lisbon is charismatic and vibrant, effortlessly blending rich traditional heritage with wonderful modernism. You will be charmed by the tiles on the walls, the fabulous trams, delicious menus, unique markets and fairs and the atmospheric, winding, hilly streets. The famous iconic flea market, the Feira da Ladra, is buzzy and fun.

There is always something original, kitsch or vintage to be found. There are many organic markets plus handicrafts, antiques, books and food. If you want a unique experience in Lisbon, you should take the Elevador da Bica tram, the most photographed funicular in Lisbon due to the dramatic contrast between the steep route and the river in the background. It connects Largo do Calhariz to Rua de Sao Paulo and is a heady descent. Lisbon is so beautiful with many azulejos, after surviving so many catastrophes, continuing to dot the city with works of art that are unique anywhere in the world. Many are hidden in private houses but you will see many stunning facades. You can discover all about their history at the Museu do Azulejo. While in Lisbon you should head to Belem to taste the delicious custard tarts and visit the monastery and botanic gardens.

Other visits you may like to take are to Sintra, to listen to a night of fados or to the beaches along from Cascais.
