Tanat Valley Farmhouseprovides an idyllic escape into the natural beauty of the Welsh mountains. Located on a working farm this is every bit the authentic rural retreat, yet the house remains isolated enough to enjoy the true peace and stillness that is so scarce in most of our busy, modern lives.
The historic structure has benefited from recent renovation that has brought all the comforts you desire from your cosy, cottage holiday. However, the upgrades take nothing from the charm of this place, and stepping out of the door you are greeted by delightful walks in every direction and many lakes, castles and mountains are but a short drive away.

#### Features
Living room
The living room has a wonderful large open fire place, two armchairs, a large sofabed, and an upright piano.
There is an excellent collection of books, including nearly 50 children's books, as well as a number of games and jigsaw puzzles, playing cards, scrabble, chess, and backgammon.
Kitchen
The kitchen was fully modernised in 2009.
It now has an induction cooker, a grill and two ovens, a fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
It also has a beautiful open stove with two armchairs and a small sofa. The kitchen table can accommodate 8 diners.
Bedrooms
The house can sleep up to 8 people very comfortably.
It has 2 double bedrooms, a twin bedroom, as well as children's bedroom with full size single bunkbeds and a cot. The two double bedrooms upstairs benefit from views across the valley. The largest bedroom has a king size four-poster bed and basin.
The house can actually accommodate up to 12 people, as there is plenty of floor space too!
The large landing upstairs has views of the valley and is an ideal play area for small children.
Bath and Shower rooms
On the ground floor, the spacious bathroom has a large roll top bath and toilet.
There is also a mosaic-tiled shower room adjacent.
Both bathrooms are very relaxing thanks to large skylights in the ceiling.

#### Location
The farmhouse is located near castles (Powis and Chirk), lakes (Lake Bala and Lake Vyrnwy) and mountains (Snowdon and the Berwyn mountains) all perfect locations for walking, picnics, bird watching and watersports.
