Description

Our Novasol holiday home village Aldea del Duero with a plot of 188.000 m2 is our "insider tip" for couples, families, groups and those who would like to spend their holiday in one of the most impressive landscapes of Spain - in the middle of the nature park Las Arribes del Duero. The village with its own church - perfect for celebrations of every kind, is located near the dam Duero, whose spectacular waterfalls serve to generate energy. The river forms the border between Spain and Portugal and is characterized by the remarkable river valley that has been formed in the rocks after millions of years and in some places are differences in altitude up to 500 meters. The village consists of a total of 25 houses, of which 21 are freestanding and can accommodate 4 persons plus 2 children (ELS001) or 6 persons plus 2 children (ELS002). The other accommodations are counting with great terraces and offer enough space for 4 persons plus 2 children (ELS004) or 2 persons plus 2 children (ELS003). All houses have been completely renovated and furnished with tasteful wooden furniture. There is also a private garden area! Within the very well maintained complex with communal pool among other things you can try the local specialties of the restaurants or take some delicious cocktails at the lounge bar. Aldea del Duero does not just offer relaxing holidays, but also a variety of sports and leisure activities. Here you can go canoeing, hiking or play tennis, soccer, football and basketball or just swim in the pool. The fantastic surroundings are ideal for day trips with the whole family. Due to its geographical location, there is a microclimate that provides pleasant temperatures with Mediterranean vegetation so that you can enjoy grapes, olive trees, oaks, almonds and orange trees, as well as endangered bird species like peregrine falcons, stone eagles and black storks. The proximity to the river ports (La Fregeneda in Spain, or Barca D'Alva in Portugal) allows you to take part on a cruise where you can admire the impressive gorges and rugged bottlenecks that characterize this spectacular area. Enjoy an unforgettable stay in pristine nature, because this part of Spain is definitely worth a visit!
