This elegant traditional style cottage enjoys fabulous views of Ballinskelligs Bay. You'll find this a totally relaxing base for your holiday just off the famous Ring of Kerry. This modern property has three large bedrooms, one bathroom and one en-suite. A large stone fireplace with electric stove dominates the spacious open plan living/dining/kitchen area. The property has a modern fully equipped kitchen. The property has WiFi. Set in a fully enclosed large garden with orchard, this charming cottage offers peace and tranquillity and a place to relax. Tastefully decorated throughout. Reenroe beach is only 6 min walk from the property down a quiet lane and is very popular for swimming, walking, windsurfing, fishing (bass) and a surf school is located here during the summer. The Kerry Way passes close to the house and walkers and birdwatchers will love this location. Recently opened five minutes walk away is a National Trail Loop Walk called the Emlagh Loop walk which takes in Reenroe, Beach, an old bog road and working bogs. Nearby Waterville has a world famous golf course and the Ring of Kerry with its stunning scenery is sure to impress.

This beautiful traditional style cottage enjoys an envious position overlooking Ballinskelligs Bay. 6 min walking distance down a quiet lane leads to Reenroe Beach which boasts one mile of unspoilt sandy beach. This property has everything you could wish for in a relaxing base for your holiday. It has peace and tranquillity, fully enclosed large garden and orchard, panoramic views of Waterville Beach to the East, Reenroe Beach directly in front and Scarriff Island, Hogs Head and Horse Island westwards. Reenroe Beach offers walking, running, swimming, surfing, horse riding, fishing. Sea angling boat trips can be arranged locally. A perfect base to explore the famous Ring of Kerry and take a boat trip to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Sceilig Michael. Visit the nearby fishing village of Portmagee or Valentia island.

Walking, Hill Walking, Cycling: There are many local walks and cycle routes. Bikes can be rented in the nearby town of Cahersiveen. Walks up Bolus Head ( to Bolus Tower), Bray Tower in Valentia, Geokaun Mountain (Valentia) offer breathtaking views over South Kerry and the Sceilig Rocks. Visit Cill Rialaig Famine Village and Artists Retreat and also the Cill Rialaig Art Gallery and Cafe in Dungeagan Village. Walk part of the Kerry Way Walking Route. Information on all these is available in the house and at local tourist offices in Cahersiveen and Waterville.

Eating Out & Area Attractions: Trip to the Skellig Rock is a must and most holiday makers say it is the highlight of their holiday. Boats leave Portmagee and Ballinskelligs daily weather permitting. Valentia Island offers a Slate Quarry, Grotto, Light House, Geokaun Mountain & Fogher Cliffs Viewing Point, Candle making. Watersports for children in Knightstown during summer months include water trampoline, kayaking, fishing, orienteering. There are many archaeological sites in the area including Staigue Fort, Caherdaniel, Leacanabuile, Cahergeal forts. An information book is provided by the owner for all local attractions and restaurants. Local seafood is a speciality in most local restaurants.

In January 2014 South West Kerry was allocated as the only dark skies area (gold status) in the Northern Hemisphere - an ideal choice for star gazers / astronomers.
