Description

A rustic farmhouse style villa isolated from the world by hedges and trees, Villa Irene is like stepping back in time to a simpler, calmer environment. The lush garden features expansive lawns, a well-furnished circular swimming pool, a Jacuzzi shaded by an oak tree and gazebo, and even a pond encircled by a fence. A terrace is situated just outside the French doors which lead to the kitchen, all sheltered from the sun by overhanging branches. The greenery here provides an idyllic and restful environment to relax in the sun, while the interior is a calm and retro place to retreat.



The house is accessed via a set of glass French doors leading to a sheltered veranda. Here there is a table and set of chairs and at the top of the stairs you’ll find a wood-burning stove heater. Its kitchen is in a classic Italian country style, with a twin-basin sink, a fridge freezer and a large extendable table for up to 8 people. The bedrooms here all feature double beds with wrought iron frames. The walls have stylish exposed stone design, with terracotta floor tiles and exposed wood ceiling beams.

Our Thoughts

With a grand, luxurious garden, rustic farmhouse interior and elegant swimming pool, Villa Irene is a superb combination of homely atmosphere and unmistakable sophistication. The swimming pool here is a particular highlight. It’s circular, surrounded by Hawaiian style parasols, comfortable furniture for lounging in the sun, and a blissful waterfall feature which brings clean water to the pool. And that’s not even mentioning the nearby hot-tub, which has curtains for added privacy.  Another standout feature is the kitchen, with its distinctive country-style kitchen and open fireplace. The ideal hideout from the outside world.

3 double beds, 1 single bed.

Double beds cannot be converted into twins.

3 bathrooms (all en-suite), all with showers.

The owner lives on site but they have their own private house, garden and entrance. The villa is semi-detached, and joined to the owner’s house. One corner of the villa’s garden is visible from the owner’s house.

Heating and air conditioning are included in the price.

The property is fenced and pet-secured.

Pool

The pool is circular with a diameter of 6 metres and a depth of 1.2 metres deep. It’s open from May to September and is cleaned by a well-maintained chlorine system. A fountain feature provides the pool with water.
