Description

A three-storey villa on the Aroeira Golf Resort, the stylish Villa Zita gives you access to a range of great resort facilities, all around 30 minutes' drive from Lisbon. With a huge 1500 sqm garden and private swimming pools for adults and children, it has many great benefits of its own too and is 4km away from Praia Fonte da Telha beach.

This contemporary villa can accommodate up to eight guests, and the sleek modern design is evident both inside and out. The size of the pool is also notable, at a large 14m x 8m, and the children can splash around as much as they like in an accompanying pool just for them. The gardens also include a large terrace area with eight sun loungers, a barbecue and dining area.

The Aroeira Golf Resort has four tennis courts, bars and restaurants and a shopping centre, in addition to its two excellent golf courses. There's a tropical swimming pool, spa and wellness centre too, and areas of pine forest for nature walks. All of the amenities of the resort are within a couple of minutes' drive of Villa Zita.

Your accommodation includes an ultra-modern kitchen on the ground floor, along with a spacious living room and dining area with direct access to the garden and pool. A host of amenities including television, Wi-Fi, dishwasher, coffee machine and fridge freezer are available.

Three incredible suites are found upstairs, all with their bathroom. Two of these have twin beds. The other suite is found on the lower floor; this one is a double. Also, on this level, you have a games room and pool shower, as well as laundry facilities.

Not far from the resort are some of the best spots on the coast for water-sports, and beachfront nightlife and fish restaurants. Cabo Espichel, Sesimbra, Almada and the spectacular Arrabida Natural Park are all within an easy drive.

#### Location
The Aroeira Golf Resort dubbed the ‘Wentworth of Lisbon' in its early years, is set amidst beautiful pine woodlands and has become a destination of choice for golfers and non-golfers alike.

With Lisbon 25km away and the beaches of the Lisbon Coast as close as 6km away, you don't need to be handy with a five-iron to appreciate its stunning location.

The pine woods and lakes contribute to a microclimate that offers the chance to enjoy a round of golf at any time of year. With a tropical swimming pool and four tennis courts, other sporting activities are catered for too.

To the south, Praia do Meco is a new, remote beach known for its surfing and nudism – indeed, Portugal's go-to naturist beach. Around 11km from here, Sesimbra is gaining popularity as a resort. It's peaceful, family-friendly and has a laid-back calm about it.

The heritage of the area is evident in churches, castles and historic buildings – the Castelo do Sesimbra offers a pleasant sea view (albeit at the end of a pretty steep climb).

For the most spectacular lookout point in the area, head for Cabo Espichel. A lighthouse and monastery sit on the dizzying cliffs, with the expansive Atlantic Ocean ahead, making this a place to go to reflect and be at one with nature – and many make the trip when visiting Lisbon, around one hour's drive north.

Extending all the way along the coast from Sesimbra to Setubal, the Arrabida Natural Park only adds to the wonder of the region. Whether scuba diving, hiking, dolphin spotting, or even hovering above it all in a hot-air balloon, it's unforgettable in all the best ways.
