Colbiancale is a perfect family holiday villa and has everything a family with children of all ages could want and more. The owners are very family orientated and have modelled the property around a familys needs.
Nestling in the gently undulating Umbrian hills between the bustling town of Umbertide and the lovely historic town of Gubbio and within easy reach of Perugia, Cortona, Assisi, and Citta di Castello. Lake Tasimeno is just a short drive up the lovely Niccone valley. The area is abundent with attractions and activities.
The main house is very tastfully renovated to provide spacious, light and airy, comfortable living accomodation.
The kitchen is fully equipped for family life, on arrival you will find the most generous welcome pack so if you did'nt have time to shop on the way it could wait until the following day. There are ample work surfaces and storage. perfectly set up for preparing a family meal of a celebration feast.
The living room is very spacious and furnished with ample comfortable seating for more than 8 guests, there is satelite TV, dvd player with a huge dvd collection for all ages. There is huge amount of games and toys for children of all ages which will certainly make entertaining youngsters easy.
The living room and kitchen have french windows that open out on to the lovely wide covered terrace area with alfresco dining and relaxing top of the agenda with uninterrupted views into the gardens and pool area, the child friendly pool is very modern and well kept with wide steps into the pools shallow end, there is a ledge around the whole pool at shallow end depth (1.2m) for child safety. There is ample garden/poolside furniture which is modern and comfortable.
The house upstairs has 3 bed rooms, the master with en suite with a bath/shower, wc, bidet and basin.
The second double, and a twin bedroom share a spacious, light and airy bathroom comprising of shower, basin and wc.
All bedrooms are well furnished have ceiling fans and fly screens fitted to the windows.
All linen is provided including towels, pool towels, bed linen, cot linen if a cot is required. For stays of over one week a housekeeper will perform a linen change and bathroom clean.
There is an excellent welcome pack provided.

The 2 bed cottage is available at an extra charge for groups of upto 8 guests, this is perfect for older family members or young couples travelling with the group wanting a little more privacy. It is an open plan with its own kitchen, bathroom and a comfortable double bed which can be made up as two twin beds on request.

The property is in the most idylic location giving amazing views which are constantly changing as the day goes on, for the early birds the sunrises are a great start to the day but for everyone else the sunsets over the undulating Umbrian hills is breathtaking. The gardens are well kept and secure a great place to unwind and relax, or play. There is also a table tennis table which is great for a family weekly knockout legue.......

We’ve had a wonderfully relaxing 2 weeks here enjoying the warm weather, the fabulous views and the fantastic facilities. Don’t think we’ve ever settled into a holiday house so quickly – a proper home from home. The gardens are lovely, the pool has been maintained to such a high standard and the games and equipment have kept us all busy. To finish it all off Jane came along and prepared us a fantastic meal on our last night. Thanks to all.

This house is the most comfortable holiday home we’ve ever stayed in. The children were blown away by the selection of toys, table football, table tennis table, and above all the pool.
Jane’s meal was an absolute feast it was such a pleasure to come home to a meal ready and waiting in the fridge. The views are stunning and being able to sit so comfortably under the veranda watching the children in the pool was so relaxing.
