Description

Sometimes it takes something far distant from our normal, everyday lives to re-balance us and bring us back to the centre of our being. The ambience and expansive landscape surrounding the villa "Marinassa des Trenc" could be a most pleasant way of assisting that process. The single-storey natural stone house sits in the hinterland of the well-known sandy beach of Es Trenc in a remote location affording complete privacy. Cypresses and oleander newly planted in 2015 serve to screen the lovely outdoor area, one day providing a dense surround for the estate. A beautiful, well-tended garden promotes extensive relaxation in the open air, whether with a refreshing drink, an entertaining read, or simply dozing in the sun; you may laze around here to your heart's content. The 8 m pool blends decoratively into the garden, dominated by a large grassy area and small olive trees. On hot days, fabulously refreshing cool water is guaranteed! The pool is tiled with decorative mosaic tiles and varies in depth from 0.80 to 2.10 m with convenient access via corner steps. Then chill out on the loungers or on the inviting covered terrace next to the house. Any time of day is good for sitting here at the dining table and gazing into the distance, appreciating the view while you indulge in a few Mediterranean delicacies. Fancy a mood-enhancing end to your day, enjoying an evening BBQ in the balmy breeze? No problem! The brick-built BBQ is always ready on the gravel area next to the house.

The interior of the villa has been laid out with particular sensitivity for contemporary aesthetics and comfort, and you will sense a highly individual and exceptionally charming atmosphere from the moment you step into the house. Bright shades, carefully selected fabrics, furniture and decorative pieces, attractive floor tiles, classical exposed beam ceilings - these all serve to set the mood for a place you would love to settle down in. A large living/dining room with integrated kitchen and several exits to the front terrace enables you to move freely and sociably about the space doing whatever you please without crowding one another. There could be a whole range of activities going on simultaneously here: cooking, sitting at the table, playing games, painting, while behind you someone else is reading on the sofa, or catching up on their favourite TV programme on the flat-screen TV with satellite connection. And with wireless internet connection, you could be updating your holiday status, connecting with friends, or simply planning a route for the next day's excursion in the car. The kitchen, decorated in grey and white and equipped with modern appliances, offers everything you require for self-catering days when you want to go at your own pace. Two simple but elegant bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom, invite you in for a cosy afternoon nap or a sound night's sleep. One room contains a bed measuring 1.80 x 2.00 m, the other has two, each measuring 0.90 x 2.00 m. The two bathrooms are practically and tastefully furnished, with walk-in shower and stylish tiles, offering a high degree of comfort and privacy, even for two couples traveling together.

This villa is virtually perfect for all kinds of activities: first and foremost, of course, for a visit to the beautiful local beaches. Thanks to its convenient location next to a quiet country road, you can reach a variety of destinations in no time with a rental car. Since one of Sa Rapita's main attractions is its yacht club, recreational activities here include a variety of water sports like surfing, sailing, and diving. The beautiful Platja ses Covetes, situated between the natural beach of Es Trenc and Sa Rapita, is 300 m long, and has sunshade and lounge hire, a beach bar and kiosk. Sa Rapita itself is a small fishing town far from the crowds, and ideal for discovering the "real" Mallorca. Golf and hiking enthusiasts are also well catered for in this region.
