The Stables, situated in beautiful rural Suffolk, is a handsome Grade ll listed Georgian building, formerly a coach house, that dates back to 1827. This eclectic yet modern four bedroom country cottage accommodates up to eight guests, all at ground floor level, in a beautiful open plan living space, ideal for families with young children. The property wraps around a stunning central south-facing gated courtyard which features outdoor seating and ornamental flower beds.

Upon entering the property through the entrance hall guests will first notice the generously sized kitchen and dining area. This large beautiful space is decorated in subtle shades of cream and is flooded with plenty of light thanks to the large double doors that open out onto the private courtyard. In addition to the dining area within the kitchen space there is also a separate dining hall, which also seats eight in a slightly more formal setting - ideal for a special meal or celebration.

Double doors open up from the dining hall into The Stables' generous living area, which also offers plenty of light and space. There are stunning views of ancient oak trees from the living room, and a large flat screen TV, ipod docks, WiFi, and even a selection of board games make this room ideal for an evening of family entertainment in front of a roaring fire.

There are four luxurious king size bedrooms featuring Hypnos beds, flatscreen TVs, and all with en-suite facilities; two with showers, one with a roll top bath, and one shower wet room. The bedrooms and bathrooms are decorated in classic neutral shades of shell, taupe and fresh cream. Patterned headboards, arm chairs and lamp shades add eclectic touches of colour, and every room is light and spacious with stunning views of the estate and access to the courtyard.

For alfresco dining on a beautiful summer's day, or a few drinks and a light supper under the stars, The Stables' central courtyard is the perfect location. Complete with bbq and large table and chairs with umbrella this area is made for entertaining. Families with young children can enjoy a relaxing evening safe in the knowledge that the private gated courtyard offers complete peace of mind.

The Stables is one of several private holiday properties on this exclusive 5,000 acre estate that offers some shared amenities. There are stunning grounds and lakes to explore, and guests can hire rowing boats and paddle boards as well as bicycles. There is also a tennis court and outdoor heated pool for guests of the estate to enjoy, before venturing further afield to all that Suffolk and the heritage coast has to offer, or heading back to your own private and secluded accommodation for an evening with family and friends.

The Stables is one of a small cluster of country houses, luxury farmhouses and cottages set within 5,000 acres of private grounds centered around Sayer's Mansion. While the grounds, lakes and tennis court are shared with the guests of the other homes, the Estate has been carefully designed so that your group will retain plenty of privacy.

The Estate is situated in a beautiful corner of East Anglia set just outside the Suffolk village of Yoxford and just a 10-minute car journey from popular Saxmundham, a market town which is just bursting with charm and boasts a variety of independent shops and excellent eateries. The closest coastal resorts of Aldeburgh and Southwold are both just a 20-minute car journey away, whether you choose to sample fish & chips in Aldeburgh or take a stroll along Southwold's Pier, a fantastic day out is guaranteed. Southwold is home to the Adnam's Brewery & Gin Distillery, one of the most modern breweries in the world, book a tour to discover just how they produce their beer or gin and enjoy a yummy sample at the end! The town of Framlingham, home to the 12th century Framlingham Castle, the internationally-known “Castle on the Hill”, is just a 20-minute drive away and is well worth a visit while in the area.
