Description

The natural stone villa "Bona Sort" was built in the late 90s by a German architect as a holiday residence for him and his family. As the family loved the beach as much as they loved playing golf, they decided on this location due to its proximity to both. When designing the house, the owners also placed great importance on offering each inhabitant ample space for themselves to retreat for a few hours. As such, the bedrooms are spacious and feel like little suites – among other things fitted with small terraces and a direct access to the pool and Mediterranean garden, which nestles all the way up to the house and offers plenty of shady spots. In other words, the villa is perfect for people who would like to spend their holiday alone or with their children, parents, or friends, in harmony but with the opportunity to spend a few hours in private, thanks to its spaciousness. If you additionally like to play golf or love the beach, this just might be your dream villa! The property's outdoor area also houses a outdoor shower and a barbecue.

The spacious combined living/dining area with adjacent, fully furnished kitchen, further sun and seating terraces, pool area, and barbecue seating group underneath an old olive tree offer the guests spaces to come together while on holiday. In the living room, you will find an open fireplace, large, 43-inch satellite TV, as well as stereo system with CD player. Let's take a look at the 3 bedrooms in detail: master suite with en-suite bathroom and large double bed (1.60 x 2.00 m), 1 suite with en-suite bathroom and 2 single beds (can be pushed together, 0.90 x 2.00 m each), as well as 1 further suite with separate WC and 2 single beds (can also be pushed together, 0.90 x 2.00 m each). Incidentally, mosquito nets over the beds ensure that you can enjoy a relaxing night's sleep with the windows open. Should you wish to spend a holiday on the island during the winter months – perhaps to see the almond trees blossom, which magically transforms the island from the middle of January into the middle of March, or simply to escape colder climes – then the central heating as well as the fireplace in the living room will ensure you can enjoy a homely atmosphere in the villa even on cooler days. The unique touch of this villa is its interior room decoration. We consider it a tasteful combination of antique and modern furnishings and decorative elements, which unite comfortable living with a classy ambience.

The popular beach town of Cala Ratjada is just 10 kilometres away, and features a slew of tourist attractions for young and old, such as a picturesque harbour (with ferries along the coast and to the neighbouring island of Menorca) along with a variety of bars and restaurants. The adjacent little medieval towns of Artà and Capdepera (both 4 km) have maintained their original medieval charm, setting them apart nicely from the newer, rather interchangeable tourist spots along the coast. Both of these towns have everything you need to keep yourself supplied with food and other necessities, with plenty of restaurants and places to buy groceries. You should definitely pay a visit to the Parc Natural northeast of Artà (10 km from the villa), one of Mallorca's largest conservation areas (1,500 ha), connecting the mountains of Llevant with secluded coves, beaches, and steep cliffs on the coast. The area has become a rather popular and well-developed destination for hiking and rock climbing in recent years, yet at the same time it's mostly quiet and devoid of people.
