The Coach House (UK33011) is a beautiful detached home with period features and four double bedrooms, each with an en-suite shower room; one bedroom also has the added luxury of a slipper bath. There is an open plan living/dining area with a 40" Smart TV, as well as a second living room. Guests can bring their Xbox or Playstation to link up to the TV in this room.
The conservatory, accessed via the spacious kitchen, is a lovely spot to enjoy a mid-morning coffee whilst planning the day’s adventures.
The Stables (UK33010) is a beautiful apartment with two en-suite bedrooms (one with a slipper bath) set on the lower ground floor of a three-storey period home, and offers two bathrooms, a kitchen and an open plan living/dining area with a 32" Smart TV which opens out onto a private patio area.
Stroll down to Holcombe Beach, just 5 minutes’ walk down the quaintly named Smugglers Lane. For a longer walk, take the coastal path that runs beside the railway line into Teignmouth, a vibrant coastal town with a beautiful long promenade, pier and beach, where you can sit and watch the world go by. Or just a short journey away in the other direction is the sandy beach of Dawlish Warren, where you can laze in the sun and take a refreshing dip in the ocean.
When you are ready to escape the charm of these properties you will be spoilt for choice with breathtaking scenery to explore. Holcombe is a beautiful village which has a pretty church and lovely pub. Ramblers can enjoy plenty of walking, and the cottage is situated only 10 minutes from the beach and sea wall that takes you into Teignmouth. There are plenty of restaurants and pubs and the Arts Quarter is a fantastic spot to appreciate the local art, exhibitions and workshops.
The English Riviera boasts endless activities apart from a day at the beach, and includes attractions such as Paignton Zoo, the Dartmouth Steam Railway, the picturesque fishing harbour of Brixham and the rugged Dartmoor National Park. Whether you decide to stay in Holcombe or venture further afield, these proprties make the perfect base to explore South Devon.
