Palma airport is approximatley 30 mins drive and the small village of Costa de la Calma offers a variety of restaurants and small bays. It is also located just 18 km from the historic capital city of Palma therefore perfect for visiting the city attractions, shopping or even dining in some of the amazing restaurants this city offers. There are excellent beaches nearby that include Cala Blanca that has lovely clear waters and is characterised by its rocks and small coves. The resort of Santa Ponsa has two white sandy beaches, a larger beach and a smaller cove, both of which can be reached within a 5-10 minute drive of the villa. Close by there are excellent golf facilities: the Santa Ponsa Golf Course complex, the Real Golf de Bendinat, and the Club de Golf de Poniente.

This coastal region located in the southwest of Palma de Mallorca, between Santa Ponsa and Paguera belongs to the municipality of Calvia. The translation of the name is "coast of peace and quiet" and this is exactly what you encounter here - a beautiful, quiet and relaxed coastal area close to lively neighbouring cities. The region has 1.612 residents and celebrates each year between the 4th and 15th of August its "fiestas" together with El Toro. Part of Costa de la Calma is Cala Blanca, a lovely swimming bay with various sea accesses. In 1343 king Pedro IV of Aragon landed in Costa de la Calma just before overtaking the kingdom from Jaime III.
